***MUST READ*** When I came to this dealership (which I had drove 2+ hours to) I was approchead by a sales man and he had immediately asked me if I was intersted and how much I was willing to putting down. He was not welcoming from the start. When I expressed how very much interested I was but did not want to put down much he had disappeared from the car lot and anytime I had a question or in need of some information it was impossible to find him or anyone else on the lot. Finally after 45 minuets of waiting around for answers we began to talk pricing. Then when we began to sign papers & when it came to the point of the option to return the car I was presented with a paper stating if after 3 days of not wanting the car and asking to return it I must pay 500 to do so and the payment was needed to be taken that day of purchasing the car. That was ridiculous as I did my research and found that the state of CA requires Big dealerships to allow you to return a car within 7 days with no payment. However at Mom & pop dealerships they can create there own routes to do so. After purchasing my FIRST CAR here I was Excited to head home as I had a long ride ahead of me. About 20 minuets outside of daily city as I am in the far left lane (Fast Lane) on the FREEWAY and traffic is changing pace I go to shift into my last gear and I cant MY CAR WILL NOT SHIFT AND I AM IN THE FAST LANE I COULD NOT ACCELORATE. Thankfully I was able to get over on the shoulder and pull over but now I am stuck and the dealership is closed it is about 7 p.m I am a couple of hours away from home. FINALLY I had just called in a tow & got it towed back to the dealership. The next day I call to see what the issue was and it turns out their mechanic did not tighten a hose the proper way and I was unable to drive because of that. Fast forward to a few days later. I had called to say forget the situation I did not want the car anymore. They had proceeded to argue with me saying I Had no choice to take the car. And threatened to take further action if I did not go by what I signed. Again THE CAR BROKE DOWN ON ME THE DAY I LEFT THE LOT. I had taken the car as I felt I had no choice after everything they still asked that I myself take time out of my day to go pick it up again 2+ hours from my home finally we negotiate for a drop off from my knowledge whoever brought the car I would simply drop them off the at the bus station in my city. While I am on the phone with the woman who is bringing my car she request I drive her to the nearest Bart. Bart is not in my area as I try to be courteous and let her know. She then tells me "Well then I am not getting stuck out here and I am turning around (she was 20 minuets from my house) if you want your car come to get it its not my problem" the service from her was terrible just as it had already been from the dealership. When I got my car about a week into having it again something went wrong. & once again it was their mechanics fault. When i called since I had a 30 day warranty they requested I drive the car to them. IT WAS NOT DRIVABLE . So they requested I tow it to them so the shops they are connected to would fix it. I argue for several days for them Finally to give me a name of a shop in my area to go to. The Problems do NOT STOP THERE. About a week before my 30 day warranty is up I encounter another issue this time I call the dealership and see if we can arrange the same thing with the shop I took it to last time. This time I speak to the OWNER & he informs me if this situation takes more then a week then the warranty I had from them would not cover it and I would have to pay out of pocket. Then when I take the car to the shop the Shop said they wont take my car until coincidentally 2 days after my warranty expires luckily he had just checked very fast what was wrong and it was a small issue that required no money and was fixed in 5 minuets. However if it was a BIG ISSUE THEY WOULD NOT HAVE PAYED EVEN THOUGH I HAD WARRANTY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. RUINED MY 1st CAR BUYING EXPERIANCE. more to say not enough space.

beware!!!! if you want to experience first-hand the sleaziness that is traditionally associated with used car dealership, and car salesman tricks bastan auto center is your place... these old scumbags name moe old guy that looks like a crook, talks like a crook, and definitely the number 1 crook in entire bay area! are going to rip you off!!! do yourself a favor go across the street the century auto they are more honest, bay luxury cars they have better car selections and will treat you like a human being.. compare to bastan auto center they will try all the tricks in the book to rip you off! let me share my memorable experience with this people, my family went there cause we were in the market to buy a sedan we found a car that we like and will work on our budget so after a long deliberation approximately 6 hours of back and forth wasting time Moe, kept trying to squeeze us with more down payment money even though the credit was already been approved by the bank moe was just simply a crook and tried and tried to get more money from us.. since their office area is really small we can hear the bank and bastan salesman conversation over the phone. and believe me it was absurd how they treated us.. moe kept asking how much monthly payment i can afford? i told him how much is the car that im buying? he cant give me a straight answer.. until the final moment finally arrived we both agreed on $550.00 monthly payment but two weeks after when i receive the bank statement i ended up paying $555.10 they added more without telling us or explaining to us what was the extra $5.10 in 72 months thats $367.20 extra.. as soon as i received the bank statement i went ballistic cause that was not the price we agreed upon this people are major bullshitters stay away dont even look in their car lot you will regret it.. be careful with mo/moe they usually call him when your about to finalized you purschase and thats where the real suffering start.. moe is a jaded farttss do your self a favor and stay away! i mean, far far away! bastan is old fashion ripoff center believe me.. Dont waste your precious time look elsewhere this place is full of dissapointment..

Very helpful and they do everything they can to make your experience wonderful. I also loved the fact that they feel like they want to help you get what you need for the price you can afford. No slimy people trying to force a sale down your throat. Even after I bought my car they still cared about my happiness. I found something that bothered me a month after I bought the car and they still did everything to ensure I was happy with my new car. Henry is the best he goes above and beyond to make your car buying experience the best one you have ever had. I will never buy a car from anywhere but here again. I would highly recommend here if you want to buy a car and DONT want to be hounded by greedy car salesmen who only want their commission. Wonderful place. Great people. Great experience. Two thumbs way up.
