I had some trouble with a couple purchases of an office chair upon assembly. Office Depot was easy when it came to the those returns. This morning I went in and saw the same chair assembled without the flaw. The manufacturer appear to have fixed the earlier problem. Quality control was the manufacturers responsibility but Office Depot had been easy to deal with. The manager Chris went the extra mile today and allowed me to purchase the chair I wanted & adjusted the price to what I had on my emailed receipt from the earlier purchases. Glad to have the chair with the hard to find features I wanted. Thanks, G (FYI the chair MFMC 400 is one of very few "leather" finishes with as the adjustability of a task chair. e.x. Seat Tilt)

I purchase $271.40 this evening (8/11), and one of the items was a buy 2 get 1 free. At the register I ask for assistance on the 3rd item as there was none on the shelf. The cashier invoices me out for all 3, and calls for help to get the 3rd item. The "Customer Service Manager" is then called to the register, who I tell my situation to, and completely ignores me, and tells the cashier that he doesnt have another and to refund me for the 3rd one, which again...was no charge (buy 2 get 1 free). No solution offered, and the cashier could not refund me for the 3rd one as it was free, so I have a receipt showing I received something that I did not. Not Happy with how I was treated here.

I have been going to Office Depot for yrs, from San Jose, San Luis Obispo County to Chico and service has always been great. Employees are always ready to help, not intrusive, but helpful. They dont push you to buy but do help you make wise choice. I went in yesterday afternoon to get some help with my laptop and tablet. Brandon/Brendon (sorry not sure) was great, treated me with respect and gave me great help. They dont walk around trying to look busy so they wont have to help anyone. I would definitely recommend Office Depot to family n friends. Thank you Office Depot for having employees that care about customers , no matter what age of your customers.

Prices are OK and plenty of stuff in stock, but the service can be downright rude, and its clear even the manager doesnt care or have a clue about the meaning of "customer" (or maybe thats why its like that in the first place). So unless I REALLY need it in a hurry, will stick to online shopping in the future.

Customer service isnt so great not satisfied, I just called guy I spoke with wasnt very experienced about want I asked or needed, and also had no idea about his own business hrs
