My first time here, shopping for a 3 month old. NOT my 3 month old, mind you, but my bouncing baby nephew. Being at this location since many, many moons ago, Babies R Us is located on the left of Aldi, which was previously an Office Depot. Immediately stepping inside, I was in awe with all things baby. A large registry department helps those expecting with huge benefits- Up to 10% back on registry purchase, including your own One on one registry consultation Classes & events pre & postnatal 10% completion discount on everything for when baby arrives 1 year for returns Free shipping on purchases of $29 or more, etc. The departments were expertly laid out with aisles that were easy to navigate. Next to the restrooms, mommy rooms are available, containing changing tables & rocking chairs for nursing. Making sure no mommies were nearby, I availed myself of the comfy rocking chair while my nephew was being changed. Im unaware, if Babies R Us has competitive prices, but Im told the store has merchandise which others dont. Seeing the cost of premium items, such as strollers & cribs, visions of struggling parents came to mind. Raising baby is a costly endeavor! My sister-in-law lucked out & managed to find the last remaining power rocker. Thatll be an immense help, opposed to manually rocking her newborn. We also picked up more of a new formula which my nephew seems to prefer Service was good. Staff seemed to be available for any questions or assistance. More cashiers are needed, though. Only 2 were at the registers, which caused lines to back up. Other than that, we were in & out in an expeditious manner. Parking is in a private lot, shared by the aforementioned Aldi. Entrances to the lot are on South Street. A shortcut is also available on Gridley, cutting by 85 Degrees. Babies R Us is the baby superstore. A beneficial registry rewards program, a wide array of in stock merchandise & convenient location are reasons to frequent this store. If, and a very big if, I ever have the fortuitous opportunity of becoming a parent someday, theres no doubt Id be an enthusiastic Babies R Us customer, scanning practically the entire store for my registry. Highly recommend!

Was in the store probably 20 minutes...searching for anyone that works there other than the three people up front 2 in customer service (both helping the same person) and 1 cashier. I then waited in the customer service line for maybe 10 minutes for help...without even being acknowledged. Both employees were too busy chatting it up with the guest they were helping. I had to ask them if there was anyone else in the store, thats when the man stopped chatting and asked me if I needed help. I asked where so thing was and he showed me. I wanted just one item and it sadly took entirely too much work to even find someone to help me. Then when I was ready to check out the one cashier disappeared so we all had to wait in the customer service line. The cashier reappeared, looked at the line and walked away. Then I believe it was a manager came up to help clear the line. Not the best customer service. I even over heard another customer commenting to someone about how they couldnt find anyone that works there. Sad.

I came to buy my strollers and my car sit for my babie, it was 15 minutes to close and they told us we close in 5, so i told one of the employees to get the stroller that i liked from the storge because there was not one at the store, so he did but when he came back the cashiers make a face and started to said sarcastic words between one and the other, one of them told me, didnt you know we are closed,!? And siad, now i have to wait again to open a register, and takes forever,! I was going to tell her something but i didnt, finally she charged me and siad now we can go,! I think that this employees should learn how to give a good costumer services, if not this store will loss alot of costumers, They didnt even ofer me help with my big box from my stroler that it was heavy and dint said thanks or good night or something,! I really dont like this tipe of service,! Not at all,!!!!!!!!!

I only go here because its the closest Babies R Us to me and with a 4 month I cant drive further. The customer service is not even service. Doesnt seem like theres even a supervisor making sure things are running smoothly. Each time Ive paid online and selected the option "Pickup at store" it takes over 20 minutes just for that 1 employee in the back to find it and bring it to the front. I could have walked into the store and grabbed it myself and paid for it over 3 times. Im never selecting that "convenient" option ever again. And there is never anyone at the cashiers. The workers are always talking to each other about random things and dont even have the decency or professionalism to say "I will be with you in a moment". Who is doing the hiring at this place? Needless to say, be prepared to wait on the workers. Go when you have time to w a i t........

Worst customer service. Needed help with a stroller we saw online and when we finally got someone to help out this one women who worked there was not helpful at all. She did not answer any of our questions and was very rude. When I showed her that the stroller we were looking at was 80 dollars cheaper online, she became very rude and told me I should check the product number. Turns out the product number was the same, but she was still rude. She shouldve apologized, but instead she said something underneath her breath and walked away. I wish I could give them no stars, but it was just one person who caused this so Im going to give them the benefit of doubt and we will be getting that stroller from Target anyway.

Came here last week because I received a bunch of gift cards for our baby shower. They have a promotion to get a free wipes case with a diaper bag purchase, we had to flag down 3 different customer service reps who directed us to 3 different places in the store without finding the case. The last rep told us the cashier would give it to us when we rang up, instead the cashier rudely said they didnt have anymore- no rain checks, without even checking. This place has the worst customer service Ive ever had, hands down. I was in a great mood when I came in but all the grumpy workers really soured the place down. Even though this place is 5 minutes from my house, Im going to definitely take my business elsewhere.

Theres no better Babies"R"Us than the one at Fort Mason. Hope they have it here for years to come. My girlfriend and I have tried all of the popular (re: famous) trucks while trying a few of the trucks that have short or no line at all. Take our word for it but give these lesser known trucks a try. Korean Bobcat (Korean Fusion) has turned out to be one of our favorite trucks while The Lobs ta Truck has a really good blueberry soda.

VERY DISORGANIZE STAFF!!They lack professionalism and sense of urgency specially when they are unexperience young staff who are disengaged and not seem to want to multitasking or be attentive...is a hassle to find someone to help you since there arent many people working as well. So if you are pregnant and shopping around be AWARE! I only one gentleman who was very pleasant out of 5 times I had gone there.
