In the good old days, Pier 1 was known for having the coolest imported stuff, and at great prices. Now its still got lots of cool stuff and good variety, but very expensive. Many similar items can be found at places like TJ Maxx Homegoods, for much better prices, but Pier 1 has multiples of each item they carry, whereas the other stores are more of a treasure hunt. I do love how Pier 1 has really evolved in the seasonal decor items, like Halloween and Christmas
