UPDATE: Dyson Motors has a B- rating for the BBB!!! They have 3 complaints listed with them, not a good sign!!! Many negative complaints from other customers, see yelp page for more info... Even with the understanding of as is sales, when you walk onto a car lot looking for a used car and find one for 10,000$, you expect at least something decent, especially when blue book value says the car is worth that when buying from a dealer. The salesman and crew are nice. They tell you the car is perfect condition, that their mechanic inspected it and its great. Theres a warranty offered of 50/50 during the first 30 days of ownership. And even after you do your best to inspect the car yourself, you know 1 or 2 things might come up in the future which needs to be fixed, but hey....its a used car right? Then a few months down the road after buying it, you notice the voice activation doesnt work, which is connected to bluetooth for hands free calling. 100$ part. No big deal. Then you take it for an oil change. Theres an oil leak, 650$. Hmmm, not great but still not bad. Oh but wait, theres also an extremely dirty air filter that hasnt been changed in years 65$, a torn boot 250$, Transmission fluid is sludge and blacker than tar they say and show you, way over due for a change 233$. Dyson mechanic inspected the car, huh.....i guess air filters and fluids are foreign to mechanics over at dyson The next check, as requested by the cars on board computer, the transmission is throwing an error code. Bring it in and Surprise, your transmission is dead because of the abuse of transmission fluid never being changed. 6500$ But dyson inspected it, huh... Then theres all those other little things, the power windows stopped working, the trunk doesnt stay up when open any longer, etc... just a ton of stuff. Again, dont forget, I started this by saying the understanding of as is, but with a window sticker "warranty" you feel a little better, and charm can go a long way when you want to sell a car which clearly in its "hidden" condition was over priced and a rip off. Its the karma and moral of the story...if a proper vehicle check was completed, those major issues would have been found and the car sold for less, to not rip a customer off, to he fair and honest... I mean the dealer found the issues within 1 hour and showed them to me. And a cars computer doesnt lie. Anyhow, BEWARE, you have been warned...

I had an appointment with them and when I arrived at the office, the associates there just walked by or ignored me. After 10 mins of waiting, I literally had to grab one leaving the restroom to help me. The salesman on the phone was short with me and rude. He acted annoyed when I asked questions about the vehicle. This continued in person with the owner Devin. The car had visible scratches and very large chips in the paint. It looked like they tried to touch it up with rattle-can paint. The car was being sold at about a thousand above blue book for excellent condition. I didnt mind the price at first due to the custom wheels, which would cost a few hundred anyways. However, when I tried to negotiate on the price due to having to get a new paint job and other necessary cosmetic repairs, Devin said if I didnt like the price, to go somewhere else and theyd sell it to another customer. Im not sure what planet Dyson gets its customer service training on, but a comment like that (from the owner no less) is unacceptable and unprofessional. It was my dream car, even with the obvious flaws, so I let them strong arm me into buying it thinking I would be done dealing with them and their issues. I wish my trouble stopped there. On my drive home I noticed my alignment was off, which was odd due to the fact that Devin said it had just been aligned and balanced with brand new tires. He even gave me a receipt. Long story short I took it to a tire shop and it had not been aligned or balanced, and the tires were not even remotely new. I had to pay over 100 dollars to have something done that was "supposedly" already done by Dyson. The tire shop mechanic said they probably switched out the tires with old ones and gave me the receipt for the new ones. Anyhow, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, unless you happen to be looking for your dream car and they are the only ones that have it. Do not expect to have a remotely decent experience though.

I am stationed on Fort Irwin which is about a 2 hour drive from Dyson Motors but it was totally worth the trip. I had been to several other dealerships in the LA and San Diego areas trying to get a reasonably nice car on a tight budget. Im not picky but every dealership I went to before Dyson either left me with a bad feeling about the car or the staff. I dont like to haggle and I know enough about mechanics to know if a car is going to be a problem down the road so when I got to Dyson and immediately found a great car that exceeded my expectations and came in well under my budget, I couldnt believe it. The business is family-owned and the staff were really nice. I hadnt bought a used car in a long time but they made me feel at ease and let me take my time. I got a fair price on my trade-in, and they were very accommodating when I had issues with my old title. I really cant say enough good things about Dyson Motors. Anyone looking for a good car should go there, and even though its a bit of a drive, I will recommend them to all my soldiers because I know Dyson will take care of them.

Just bought a 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid from Dyson-Motors 2 weeks ago and I love it. They were upfront quick and very friendly. I had gone to other dealers with 9k in hand and kept getting turned down or they kept telling me to wait. When I showed up on my way to pick up my son and asked if I could go in during the week and Luis from Internet Sales told me to fill out the pre-qualify app online. I went home did that picked out the car I wanted and showed up 2 days later with my down payment in hand and drove off with the car I wanted. They were able to work with my car budget and give me great customer service. I will definitely recommend this dealer to all my friends and family as well as advertise them where ever I go. Im glad I have a car better yet Im glad I have a Dyson car!!!!!

I recently purchased my vehicle from Dyson Motors. I was recommended from a family member, and I have to admit I was nervous to purchase a used vehicle. I am so pleased that I didnt go anywhere else. The personal service is amazing and the personnel in the office was very helpful. After not finding my dream car on the lot, they recommended that I wait and not settle for just any car. I was happily surprised that Devin Dyson went out of his way to locate the exact vehicle I was looking for. I really appreciate his honesty and assistance in finding the right vehicle for my family. Their service included free oil changes for a year and a free car wash with any service.
