IF THERE WAS A ZERO RATING, I WOULD RATE THIS STORE ....THE WORKERS ARE NOT VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!THEY CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD 2 TIMES FOR ONLY $7.77 ON 9/24/2015....I CALLED & SPOKE WITH THE MGR. AND SAID TO BRING IN MY BANK STATEMENT SHOWING A DEBIT PAID ON THIS TRANSACTION, WHICH I DID. I DONT LIVE IN OC, I ONLY VISIT MY MOM THAT LIVES IN GARDEN GROVE ONCE A WEEK. THEY TOOK ALL MY INFO. THE AMOUNT OF THE DOUBLE CHARGED TRANSACTION, MY NAME, ETC..ETC....I CALLED AFTER 2 WEEKS AND ASK WHAT IS THE UPDATE ON MY REFUND/CREDIT TOWARDS MY ACCT. FOR $7.77? I SPOKE WITH THE MGR. AND SAID, IN THEIR RECORD, I WAS ONLY CHARGED ONCE, BUT, IN MY BANK STATEMENT, THAT I SHOWED, IT CLEARLY CHARGED ME $7.77 TWICE. ITS ONLY $7.77!!! ???? I CAN EASILY SAY...NEVERMIND, ITS ONLY $7.77, BUT, THE FACT IS, IF I DONT INSIST OR FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THIS DOUBLE CHARGED ON MY BANK ACCT, THEY CAN KEEP DOING THIS TO OTHER CUSTOMERS....I THINK THIS IS REDICOLOUSLY BS. I WOULD BAN THIS STORE...THEYRE NOT VERY HELPFUL AND THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY...

This location is fine but far from special. Pretty standard Asian supermarket, but it could be cleaner. The Korean markets on Beach (and Arirang, on Orangethorpe) are bigger, better maintained, and have fresher produce and fish. Still, I come here reasonably often for ingredients the Korean markets do not stock. The nice thing about this 99 is they have food from all over. H-Mart makes an effort at stocking some non-Korean stuff, but I was there today and needed lime leaves, which they didnt have today (they have in the past). I knew 99 would have them, and I did really need them, so I made the trip. I buy a lot of Indonesian ingredients, and can usually find most of them here. They also have a big Filipino clientele, so they stock a lot of those ingredients too. If I felt like I could do all or most of my shopping here Id rate it more highly, but their selection of fresh stuff could be, well, fresher, and that keeps me away.

Yesterday I went to check out the store after eating at a restaurant locally. After walking the store and seeing all the disgusting tanks where they kept the "fresh" seafood I should of just walked out. Instead I grabbed what I thought would be a safe purchase of ice cream drumsticks. Once outside I bit into the ice cream and it tasted off. Looking at the box I see the expiration date was March 2017! More than 4 months past. This market is a danger to the health of the community.

Good selection. Average price. However, you have to watch out for expired items, particularly in those in the refrigerator and freezer. Do not assume everything on the shelf is good to go. The store-made pork and vege buns are actually pretty good if you reheat with steam at home. They are usually bundled 2 boxes (total 8 buns) per package. The fish dept will also deep fry the fish (just fry no seasoning) for you for free if you desire.

BEST selection and price on seafood, as well as on all cooking seasonings and supplies! After seeing the prices, selection and cleanliness, I will be shopping at 99 Ranch Market before paying local grocery prices for even the simple items like Soy Sauce. Friendly clerks. Seafood from east and west coasts - live crab & lobster... Cant say enough about it!

i most always find what I am looking for to make my favorite thai dishes. I do however miss the nice wooden soup spoons I used to buy at their stores. I have looked at several locations and can no longer find them. I love these spoons so much because they do not get hot from the food. They do have a lovely collection of rice cookers and bowls too!

I like the daily cooked food. The fish dept. will clean, scale and even cook the fish you buy. I really like this option. Overall, the prices are pretty good but you have to be a savvy shopper to know the difference. I feel the personal service is not so good or friendly as I would like. Overall, a decent place for me with great variety.

If any fisherman are looking for bait fish this isnt the cheapest but you can get it done. Almost all fresh fish is $1.99lb . Going lobster netting so we got some Bonita and Mackerel to bait the traps. Hard to find $0.99 a lb. Mackerel anymore. The place smelled good as far as asian markets go.

I love shopping at 99 Ranch Market, and have for years. This is where I get a great selection of non-gluten flours, teas one cant find at a grocery store, bulk rice, spices and Asian delicacies at unbeatable prices. Very clean and neatly organized store. A pleasure to shop there.

Your go to place for all your Asian ingredients, however when I was taking photos to post on here, one of the workers told me I couldnt take pictures, I asked her why, she responded "I dont know" and kept on walking, with that being said here are photos.

Its a great store with alot of Asian products and fresh seafood but if you need assistance then you wont find alot of it here. But if you know what you need then this is the place for you. The produce is fresh and they have ready to eat food inside

Asian grocery almost always busy with a solid selection of fresh produce live seafood catering to the Asian community but I do see many others shopping there as people have become more diverse on their eating habbits. Prices are good

Not the best 99 Ranch in terms of locations, size, and varieties of products. Do go if you live nearby, and you need to get something that is only available at a 99 Ranch. Otherwise, consider going to the Cerritos branch instead.

Organized and clean supermarket. They have a wide variety of Asian snacks, spices, drinks, etc. They have rice cookers and hot water dispensery also. Good place to shop for ingredients if youre planning to cook Asian cuisine

Just when you thought that 99 Ranch was a supermarket they go ahead and put a bunch of takeout places inside. And if you buy fish from there, you can request that they clean and deep fry it for you for free!

not the best ranch 99, items seems to be not as fresh as it should be, very low traffic most of the time when i go even on a Saturday , this may translate into stocks that is on the shelf a bit too long

The 99 Ranch Market has many cultural food and drink products at nicely discounted prices, and though the store is fairly-well patronized the check out lines at the cashier are never very long.

Great place to find Asian food imported from Asian countries. My wife liked to get frozen food from the but the fruits and veggies are expensive compared to other middle eastern markets

From Hawaii, and this is where I can get my local food fix! I make Mexican- Asian healthy fusion food. Ive had to use tortillas instead of loompia wrappers in the past! Not anymore!
