Yeah they were a bit rude and short over the phone. Also they could not give me an estimate of whether or not they were even interested in purchasing a title over the phone. I am not going to drive across town only to be told, "No, we are not interested in this title." I would not expect a legally binding verbal contract over the phone, but at least whether or not they are interested in a particular title and a rough estimate of how much they might give me. I understand a final price would need to be confirmed in person, but I would expect at least a rough estimate over the phone.

If you love books, or even just like books, you need to support the Book Stop. Its the last of its kind in Tucson-a REAL book store. The kind where you wander the aisles and find all kinds of gems that youll find nowhere else. Where you stumble upon all kinds of wonderful books that you werent even looking for. True serendipity! All this and reasonable prices too. Oh yeah, and a knowledgeable staff that pretty much knows the entire inventory-without a computer! Come for a visit and become a regular.

A Private User

Its a smaller used book store - not a huge chain - so a bit more difficult if youre looking for a certain book, but its a great place to browse. Moderately priced, its a quiet little store with character and the staff is friendly and very helpful - they have a passion for books that many staff members of big chain bookstores dont.
