I recently tried dying my hair some fun colors for the first time ever using a cheap kit I bought from a walmart- huge mistake! It came out seiously faded looking with lots of undyed spots. It was just terrible. So a friend recommended I go to Sallys Beauty Supply and get a better dye and ask for advice. So thats what I did... I first went to the store in south Phoenix located at 24th and Baseline and the lady working there was completely rude. She acted annoyed that I was talking to her and had an attitude with every response. I asked how I could fix it, she told me I couldnt. She said "it looks like you bleached it huh? Well its bleaching the color and thats why it looks the way it does." So I asked why the box would tell me to bleach my hair first if I wasnt supposed to and how els would I be able to color it if I didnt bleach my dark hair first and she responds "I dont know." So I again ask "So theres nothing I can do to fix it?" and she rudely responds "Maybe you could try rebleaching it or a decolorant, but I dont know if itll work... or maybe you could just go down to Great Clips". Needless to say I left, and I was quite pissed off. About 30 minutes later, I was on my way to meet a friend for lunch when I passed by your location and even though I was pretty hesitant after that bad experience at the Phoenix location, I was desperate so I thought Id stop in to see if anyone in your store could offer some advice. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did! I walked in and found your amazing employee Coco (not sure of spelling) busy stocking shelves. I approched her and she immediatley stopped what she was doing to help me without any issue. She didnt act annoyed, no attitude, no rude responses. Anyway, I gave her the whole story and asked what if there was anything I could do and she said yes. She walked me over to the colors, recommended a good brand, gave me detailed instructions, answered all my questions, and recommended a good conditioner. I asked if I needed to rebleach or use a decolorant to get the other crappy dye out first, and she said no. She was so knowledgeable and pleasant, it really made up for that terrible experience at that other store. And my hair turned out great! Its exactly what I wanted the first time I tried. Funny huh since that other miserible woman said it couldnt be fixed. But yeah, Im so happy. I love it. I would really like you to acknowledge Coco on a job well done. She saved my hair :) and is the only reason why i will be going back to Sallys Beauty Supply (specifically your store) ever again. Maybe that Phoenix store should seek some more friendly knowledgeable help like her! Thanks again Coco!!!! :)

Great Sallys Beauty Supply. Store is always kept clean and items sold are usually always in stock. Employees are always helpful and intelligently answer questions about products they carry and basic beauty tips for newbies doing their hair themselves.
