I am shocked by the prices at every good will store I have been to in the Pheonix area recently. I saw a 12"x12" mandala wood plackard marked at $12.99. I can buy a brand new one at Ross for litterally half the price. Then I saw two elephant bookends nothing special and cracks all throughout the outer surface making it look bad, $5.99 a piece. They are a set, why are you selling then separately? This happens all over the store. The only items in the store that you can get at a decent price anymore are books and furniture. Another issue is the FAKE tag sales. Oh cool, orange and green tags on sale today. Doesnt matter the only color you guys use is brown, purple, and gray. I wasnt the only one saying this in the store today. I walked in saw probably 20 different items I was willing to consider buying and bought none.

I dont ever do Goodwill or the like, and my hubby had rushed in to look for snow gear for my nephew; as we were on our way up North. He called my cell to run in, and have a quick look. I gave in, and went inside the store. I looked around, and went directly to the newer items. I found a snowboarding jacket and pants, and bib, just his size! Found a pair of matching coats for us, and a cute, decorative, floral tree to boot! Lol The store was clean, and organized. The employees were all pleasant. Overall, nice place for bargain shopping for that one particular item.

Over priced! Like all Goodwill stores anymore! Just had an employee tell me they price things off of Ebay. Highest sold price on Ebay. They need to remember this stuff is donated to them for free. They are suppose to serve the community that supports them. Cant claim cost of operations, these stores are sprouting up on nearly every corner. I have not donated to Goodwill in years. I donate instead to The Salvation Army or Other Mothers. 1 is at least a real charity organization and Other Mothers has great pricing for people just trying to raise their children.

I normally do not go to Goodwill because their is a nasty smell that seems to be in all of them and you feel dirty by the time you leave. My husband had to run in and look for something so I agreed to go in really fast.. we walked in both of us were so suprise it smelt pleasent and was very clean and organized. I did not feel gross I even ended up buying several clothes their. Thank you to the staff that works hard to keep that place up with a pleasant and clean environment. Will be a place I will return to.

This particular goodwill do not turnover new inventory on the floor often...I have gone to the store and spent an hour or two browsing get a few things, wait a week and come back to only find the same old inventory still out aside from a few new items. Its already ridiculous how much an organization run by the goodwill of others charge such ridiculous prices, at least put the free merchandise out to be purchased so you can help others as much as the CEO helps themselves.

This is a fantastic location. Large store with a great layout and tons of ever changing merchandise. I have been to this store several times and usually walk away with a pretty good score. Plus its not nearly as packed as the one down the road.

There was a shoplifter there during my visit. The store attracts a client base that previously was not prominent in the area.
