The last two times I went in there, someone stopped to ask me if I was finding everything I needed. I had already found it, but I confirmed to make sure it was the correct thing. Both times they pointed me to something else. Both times I had to come back to exchange it for what I originally had selected. Another instance I was looking for a new knob for a dryer. The person helped me said he didnt think think they had appliance knobs. He got on the radio and confirmed it with someone else that they had no appliance knobs. I said okay, and proceeded back to the hardware section where I found the exact knob I needed in one of the two drawers labeled "Appliance Knobs". Rude, expensive, and probably out of stock anyhow. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes, save yourself the time and money.

I called this True Value asking if they could tell me some of the different shapes they have in cabinet doorknobs for kids. The lady was very rude, told me that no, she wouldnt tell me what shapes they had because her description and mine would be different and that I would just have to make the 45 minute drive down there to look at them myself.I dont understand that, since "truck" is not a difficult thing to see. Even if they do have what I need (which I dont know since she refused to help me!) I will NOT be giving that store any of my money!

Recently moved to Queen Creek and several neighbors recommended Russ True Value. Every time Ive been there, I received great help from the staff. This is a big hardware store with a large variety of items. One thing I particularly appreciate is they have products needed for larger properties. Saw other reviews complaining about staff not being friendly or helpful, but that has not been my experience.

This is a REAL hardware store, where you can ask for a metric helicoil set and you dont get a blank stare in return. Rather they take you to the helicoil section and you can select a kit or just the size you need. Hardware in SAE and metric, in SS, grades, plated... whatever you are looking for, they probably stock it. Mark this one, guys, its the rare real deal hardware store!

This place was horrible! The staff, well the one gentleman we spoke with, didnt seem willing to help and was very vague with his answers. Maybe he really didnt know a lot about plumbing or maybe he was just as he appeared to be rude! I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for advice. I would have gave 0 stars but you have to give at least 1 to comment.

Russs Hardware is a great store, Russ the manager is a very nice person and works hard to do anything he can to assist you, he is a QC original store and I go there ratther than home depot or lowes anytime I can. As far as crabby salespeople,. they are everywhere, remember sometimes people have things going on that we are not aware of,.get over it

Gary helped me find certain scews i needed. Even tought me how to check that they are the correct ones. I swear the guy at wamart in hardware that attempted to help was drooling when i asked what a m6 screw was. Go here, not wamart. Thank you Gary at True Value.

I was in the store from 11.30 am till 12.05 pm and no one came and tried to assist me in anyway not even a greeting. Maybe its coz I didnt fit the look I dont know. Im not going back there.

This is a great place. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Would much rather support this store than the big box stores!! And they often times have things the others dont.

Has everything, fair prices, great service ... I LOVE this place! hey have a better selection. I always find what I need to fix anything, often not the case at the box stores.

Yes, their prices can be a bit higher than the larger stores, but the friendly service and convience makes up the difference for a lot of smaller projects.
