Took a burned motor in and they said they would call with estimate within a day or two. A week later I call and the guy says they are working on the estimate and would call me back. The next day I call again because I received no call from them and I am told again they would call me back. Today I go in and tell them I have people depending on the machine the motor fits and they tell me the repair would cost around $400. I said no because I can get a new motor for half that. They gave me the motor in pieces in a five gallon bucket. I took the bucket to Paradise Valley Motor Repair and in three days they told me no need to rewind, just a burnt wire but I should replace the bearings. Total cost, $140. In my opinion Precision Electric Company is a complete rip off and you are crazy to deal with these bandits. If I were you, I would not take any work to Precision Electric.

I left a motor at the facility June 1 with instructions to check the motor and let me know the price of repair or replacement.. Eight days later they have tried to 1) Sandblast the unit, 2) Inform me of a metal crack 3) Sell me a paint job 4) Finally told me t motor was bad and needed a rewind Total estimate for a motor rewind $3400.00 In addition, after telling me it would cost $75.00 for the estimate to check the motor they want $225.00 I will pick the motor up but, never going back. I will be looking for a reputable motor repair location in the future. Any recommendations.

We had a machine down and described the symptoms. They said the motor needed to be rebuilt. We brought the motor in and they tested it and said the motor was bad. We put the rebuilt motor back in place and the machine presented the same symptoms. The problem was the switch not the motor. Once the switch was fixed the motor ran fine.
