My Cadillac had a really bad shake and vibration in the steering wheel and all over the vehicle at 30 mph and higher. The tires were old and cracking so we thought that new tires would fix it. New tires did fix a lot of the shake however I bought some cheap new tires from discount and at 50/70 mph the car still shook. After taking it to another mechanic and getting a new wheel bearing, the shake was still there. Come to find out, a wheel bearing has nothing to do with a shake (dont go to brakes plus, theyll rob you). After going to DT again to get the tires rebalanced, the car still shook. I went to another mechanic and he showed me the tires while spinning. None of the tires were true (this means they are inherently warped) but I guess thats what you get with cheap tires. I talked to John, the store manager at DT and he gave me a better price on better tires. After taking on the highway the shake is gone. John is a very reasonable guy and I feel he really does want his customers to leave happy and feel good about their experience there. He saved his store from a 1 star review and a call to the BBB. DO NOT BUY CHEAP TIRES from Discount Tire. This cost me 3 days of going back and forth. Its partly my fault as well for not coughing up the cashier better tires.

I am loyal to this Discount Tire store and will continue going there. Had a less than great experience there today and it reminded me that as long as you get the right team member, you will get the service you expect. Aim for Jaz or one of the other leaders, they shoot straight and know how to give you clear info even if it is not what you hear. Today I was quoted a price over the phone but told maybe my warranty would help the price if I came in. The same rep who took my call also helped me in store. Somehow, even with the warranty the cost came to the same quoted over the phone so I just figured I was getting one of those one price fits all quotes where all the work is done behind the scenes. I was frustrated but just said yes when he told me he did not know why it would be the same after a $40 credit. I was told it would be about 45 minutes to an hour. When I returned 2 hours later, I was told that was a bad quote and it could be up to another 2 hours. I would have been fine if I knew that up front but was not ready to hang out in that parking lot with a family of 6 for 4 hours and 45 minutes. Again, I like this store and this team, it was just a day where I was left frustrated and left out of the loop.

Ill start by saying, Im 18 and dont have all the money in the world, and my parents make me pay for everything except rent. My tire blew on tuesday, and when I went to change it I noticed all 4 of my tires on my Corolla were completely bald. I went in to discount tire the next day with no appointment to get some new tires. Justin was extremely helpful! Long story short, I had a broken wheel lock and a broken wheel lock key, and wanted to get those replaced with normal lugs, which normally costs a few bucks per wheel, but he waived the cost. When I went to actually buy the tires we found a tire a little above my price range and he worked some magic with the discounts and put the price right on the dot. He was extremely kind and professional (even though my dad, who was with me to drive me home while we left the car, was being a little rude). I walked into Discount Tire expecting discount service, but I was extremely impressed at the customer service I was provided, and the service I received. I will be a lifelong Discount Tire customer. If youre reading this Justin, Thank you so much for your help!

Honestly one of the worst customer service joints I have ever been to. If you dont buy there overpriced tires they treat you like a outcast. Charged me $40 to have a slightly jerky wheel remedied when I speed up, THEN when I came back 3 HOURS later, it wasnt done. They actually charged me before the service was done which I thought was odd but heres the best part. I FINALLY get my car and go take it for a spin the wheel was STILL jerking! Brought it back in and essentially said wtf and they said "Ohhh sorry our bad, we must of not gotten around to it yesterday, this is our fault, hey Ill do you a solid and well do it again, on us" but wasnt it ALLREADY ON ME!?! I allready paid for the pos to be done and hes acting like hes cuttin me a deal. I said no thanks and got my money back which they tried to give me on store credit. Took it to tire pros down the road and they did it for me for $10. Never ever ever going here again. They WILL try and rip you off if you are not one of their kind.

Ive always preferred Discount Tire, but when going to the store in Gilbert AZ their service was amazing. I showed up in their parking lot 1 hour after they were closed with a tire in my trunk and they were sweeping up the garage. I asked if I could get their opinion before leaving so I could save myself the trip if my tire couldnt be repaired. He said "no problem, lets go take a look". After seeing that my tire couldnt be repaired he encouraged me to come and talk to one of the other employees that was part of their sales team to see if they could find me another tire. Although they didnt have one in stock, they were able to get one the following day and get me taken care of. Honestly, who provides this level of service anymore, and not even during business hours? Amazing job!

This rating was a 1 star. I changed it to a 3 because of Colton. I went to this location to get two brand-new tires. I was told it would take 1 1/2 hours to one hour and 45 minutes. After 2 1/2 hours they still had not pulled my car into the garage. When I went to find out what was going on, they did not offer a reason for the delay, or a new eta. I got a refund and left. Two days later my money had still not been returned. I went back and they resolved the problem. I appreciate that Colton wanted to be helpful. I would suggest that the staff communicate better when there are delays. I would also suggest that they offer solutions and options for their customers when they are have problems keeping to their commitments. Im still not sure if I would go back to this location.

This is the second time Ive bought all new tires and have had my tire pressure gauge come on the next day. They only put between 28-32 psi in a 51 psi tire. Last time I checked air was free. Really annoying that after I just got a low tire pressure warning and then a surprise flat before I left for work. I get another warning the day after and over 575 dollars later. Making me worried I have another nail on my tire. Thanks guys for cutting corners. All you had to do is fill it up a little more and I wouldnt have spent 10 minutes looking for a nail in my brand new tires worrying Id need to buy a whole new tire because its in the "side wall", when all it needed was air
