Best pawn shop in the valley, thank you Celia: This is by far the best and cleanest shop I have ever been in. Don’t be fooled by outside appearances, the inside is clean, shiny, and very welcoming. It was my first time in a pawn shop for selling and not browsing, so I really didn’t know what to expect, except maybe just having to end up walking out disappointed. But this was not the case, far from it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and was assisted with my items by Celia. Let me just say I really hope you are reading this Celia, because you are the one of the kindest people I have ever met. Having trouble with bills right now, and because I’ve been a wreck I started crying like an idiot. Celia took my hand and talked with me, she talked with me about family, she talked with me about things she has gone through and sympathized with me greatly. Can I tell you just how much that meant? For someone so understanding and kind to help you through the process you are unfamiliar with? I was given a great value for my items, more than I had hoped for and that was very great to me. It was a simple, quick and easy process to go through, and I have Celia to thank for that. Even with so much she had gone though, she wished and prayed for my family and for good times to be ahead. She is, as far as I am concerned, an angel. I will recommend this pawn shop to anyone I ever talk to, because it is worth it for the value and the people. A+ business, A+ customer service, and I walked out thankful for a kind face and hand that helped me. Celia, you are the best. Ive gone to West Valley Pawn for quite awhile now and I have always enjoyed each and every visit. West Valley Pawn gives you fair and favorable prices for your artifacts. Whether youre pawning or selling theyre prices are great. The employees are kind and will help you and in a simple and easy manner. On top of that the condition of the actual store is impeccable. The first few years the store was nice but the quality has greatly increased since. Everything is laid out in an organized manner, leaving just enough room for the right amount of customers. They also sell a wide variety of objects such as electronics, power tools, jewelry, etc. Each at a fair and reasonable price considering the quality of the certain artifact. West Valley Pawn also offers loans for many different items. Many of which cant be loaned at numerous other pawn shops. West Valley Pawn & Gold is a great place to pawn and sell your objects, and I wouldnt hesitate to go there again.

I have been going to west pawn for several years and am very happy and satisfied with the way they conduct business with me. There is a lady there by the name of "Celia" who always has a smile on her face and is very knowledgeable in her job.I have recommended West Valley Pawn to my family and friends and have suggested they ask for Celia because she has great customer service.All the the people that work there are great, but I like Celia cause she explains everything that needs to be paid, if I need an extension on my pawn she tells me just exactly what I will need to pay and what and when I need to pay it off. She also lets me know when I am eligible for more money on my pawn.She is one of my favorite person to conduct business with.The gentleman that works in the jewelry repair also has great customer skills as well.He also always has a smile to give.Great overall place!

I would highly recommend this place especially if youre in need of cash. They had the lowest interest rates and all the staff was curtious, friendly, and respectful. They worked with my unique situation and helped me when no one else would. Paula helped me and was fast to get what I needed but thoroughly explained everything so I could understand. I was treated like a human and not like a number on a paper. Paula had the utmost respect in my request to be desperate in regards to contacting references and I enjoyed conversation with all the staff while I waited. I will ALWAYS come here from now on for all my needs. They had a wide variety of items to sell and even aided me to obtain the documents I needed to get my cash. Best experiance and customer service in my financial situation. I dont have enough nice things to say about this place.

Bought a bluray player here (could have bought new one at Walmart for the same price they charged, it turns out). Get home and the audio isnt coming through. Returned within 30 minutes and not given a refund or even offered store credit. Yes I had the receipt/ticket. Should have checked it 1st, yes. My mistake. But the customer service (or lack thereof) is unprofessional to say the least. Not sure about all these 5 star reviews. Probably employees or their families tbh. Thats the only thing I can think of, since Ive been treated rudely, and have seen other customers treated the same way. So, if you like overpriced, broken merchandise, and being treated like a jerk, then this is the place for you!

Great service! Lots of cool stuff on the shelves and I got a good price for my item from Celia. Most pawn shops Ive been to require you to have a charging cable with a cell phone but not west valley. I have only one charger some how so it was a huge advantage to be able to keep my cable and still get a good price. I pawned the same model iPhone at another shop in Mesa and only got $50, AFTER getting turned down twice for not having the darn cable. Celia gave me $75! I was much happier leaving here than the other place and will definitely be back. Come here if you are in the Goodyear area and need a pawn shop!

I was skeptical about the process of selling my jewelry, but I was keeping jewelry that I had no use for, didnt like and had old energy attached to them from relationship long ago. I decided to do it and it was a great experience with Celia, so glad I did it! Since I was new at this, she went through each piece, the amount offered and why, which was really helpful. I would like the option of selling the gems within the settings as well because the amount offered only reflects the setting. I decided to keep the rings with expensive gemstones in them, the price offered wasnt worth it. Thanks!
