Don’t waste your time or money! I used Gilmore for years because of their great customer service and, at the time, comparable prices. Not to mention the owners advantage program. However, in the past year they have gone downhill fast! The past two times I have taking my vehicle in they have quoted me at twice the cost of other local shops. Their customer service has gone out the window and they failed to realize that my transmission was shot, even after I asked them to look at it and I ended up stuck on the side of the road when I needed to be home to meet my kids getting off the school bus. They instead claimed my bearings were the issue and, as a result, I ended up putting over $5000 into a vehicle that wasnt worth that. Where if they would have checked the transmission to begin with I could have put that money into a new vehicle. The most recent time when I told them I wanted to pay the diagnostic over the phone so I could pick up my vehicle after hours, the service manager said he would call me back in fifteen mins and hung up on me before I could say anything. An hour and a half later I still had heard nothing from him. I finally called and asked to speak to the his boss. After reading him the riot act on the horrible service and ridiculous costs, he did attempt to make things right by waiving the diagnostic, matching the competitors quote and a detail, but by that point I was so irritated by them I opted to take it else where. Not to mention, I frankly no longer trust them to do only the work needed, without tagging on a whole bunch of unecessary work to increase the bill. I personally will never go back to them. I would much rather give the locals my money, than greedy Gilmore.

The best part of the experience was actually the process of the sales. Charlie Price was great and Quyen, their finance manager, was very informative and was very easy to deal with on otherwise very stressful proceedings. They do treat you right and they make you feel very comfortable. However, the same situation seems to be the same as when they were Gilmore. Everything after the sale was almost snail slow. At no fault to Charlie it seemed to be way more of an issue with the support staff. I had to bring my vehicle in the next day for cleaning (because Charlie and Quyen both stayed after business hours helping us out). Then I waited at least an hour to find out they havent even started the cleaning. I left and had to come back again. Then it took another hour the following day. My tire pressure was low so I took it in and they added some PSI to the tires. However, they assumed it was the same measure as last years model and didnt note the change in PSI. So I had to go back again the following day to have them add the correct amount after I looked at the tire information. We never have had any luck dealing with the service department. I was hoping that the change of venue would allow them to make it a priority but that doesnt seem to be the case. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from them but I would not recommend getting any service through them.

SERVICE DEPT.....on my way from Pensacola to Ohio for work pulling my camper, my truck died unexpectedly. I have a 08 F-350 with a 6.4 engine. The service advisor Jeremy was very helpful and told me that even though they were backed up with diesel work that he would try and get me through as fast as possible. The Mechanic, Darrin was very knowledgeable about his trade and diagnosed the truck within about a day. Unfortunately I had a total engine failure with several of the cylinders not holding compression. They ordered a new engine from Ford and had it there the next day. They were honest and said that they had about a weeks worth of work before they could get to me but after that it would take about a week to install it. They were right on the money with there time schedule. It took 2 weeks from towed in to driving out to get a new engine in my truck.....Ive had several Ford diesels, one was a 6.0 and Ive been in and out of dealerships all over the country with mostly mediocre customer service at best, but I was thoroughly impressed with the service I got from everyone at this location!.....Thanks for getting me back on the road so I could get to work in a timely fashion. You guys really went above and beyond with helping me out!

the WORST dealership I have ever been to. Dont believe the 5 star ratings, they were written by Gilmore Ford employees. Purchased a 2007 Ford F150 in November, and although the quality of the vehicle is excellent, the service is truly TERRIBLE. The purchasing process took, quite literally, all day. We started shortly after breakfast and finally completed the sale after dark. Shortly after purchase I had a flat tire and needed it replaced, I made an appointment with the service department and brought the truck in on time, but after waiting all morning and through lunch, I was informed they didnt have the tire in stock and I would have to come back tomorrow. I asked for my truck back, and was told they had removed the tire and I would have to wait at least an hour before they could get to my truck and put the spare tire on! Finally, after spending the entire day at the dealership, I drove away with the flat tire in the back of my truck. NEVER take your car to this dealership for any reason. The Chevrolet dealership a mile down the road does a better job of servicing my truck and is much more professional.

Gilmore ford is absolutely the best dealer in the river region as far as Im concerned. I recently purchased a 2014 Mustang GT from them I have done business with them in the past as far as used cars and maintenance and such but this was my first experience with the new car department. the sales staff at Gilmore Ford is absolutely the best period. they noticed me immediately and greeted me in a very professional manner. my sales person Jimmy Lowe was straight forward and honest about every aspect of the purchasing process and everything went smoothly. when everything was said and done I couldnt have been happier with the purchase of my 2014 Deep Impact Blue Mustang GT probably the best decision I have ever made. Gilmore Ford is defiantly World Class when it comes to providing a customer with the answers and knowledge they seek after. I will continue to do business with Gilmore Ford up until the point where I am no longer able to drive or take care of my self thanks for all of the hard work and keep up the good work Mustang fan for life Charles Bryan

Two weeks prior we had been a part of a bait and switch on a brand new car for my husband in our local town 2 hours south. Lee OBrien and the amazing finance department were able to get us out of that awful deal and put my husband in a GORGEOUS Mitsubishi Lancer that we had brought up from the Montgomery location. We are both over-joyed by the Long Lewis customer service that was displayed to us. My husband is now in a fantastic car with no regrets other than if we knew this store existed we would have never even stopped at our local store (that continues to be a nightmare on our other new car we bought only 2 days prior to my husbands bad deal) and Long Lewis would have sold us two new Mitsubishis and we would have been MUCH happier than the nightmare we were and are living. I cannot recommend them enough!!!
