In March I took my car here to get the serpentine belt replaced and I let them know that my car was making a whining noise and thats why I was getting the belt replaced. They replaced my serpentine belt but told me that the bearings in my alternator were wearing out and thats why it was making that whining noise. I couldnt drop 1000 bucks the same day so I waited until I got my tax money and I returned 12 May 2017. I left it there at 0700 and I got a call that afternoon and they stated that the car was no longer drivable. The belt tensioner had "broken". Well, they asked me a bunch questions as if I knew how it broke. Ummm, wouldnt you have noticed a damaged belt tensioner two months prior when you replaced the serpentine belt?!?! But they replaced it at the cost of GM. I get a call Monday and they tell me they replaced the alternator and that my car is still making the same noise; surprise, surprise! Its actually the AC compressor making the noise, not the alternator. oh, and suddenly, even though Ive had ZERO issues with my vehicle aside from that whining noise, now I also need a new battery. So she tells me theyre sending off the alternator to be diagnosed to assure theres nothing wrong with it. Wait, so this wasnt completed two months ago when you said I needed a new alternator?! I was going to make a 1050.00 dollar purchase on an educated guess?! Anyways, I was taken to my car which had the new alternator and they turn it on; it sounded the exact same! I asked for them to leave my old alternator in there and it took them an extra day on top of the 3 days they had it to put my original alternator back in. And of course they tell me that if I drive out of here and I break down they cant be held liable(seemed like they were trying to scare me into buying that new alternator). So to recap: I go in with technically no issues aside from that noise and leave with supposedly a bad battery, a bad alternator and now I need a new AC compressor. Oh, and they broke my belt tensioner. I wouldve given them 1 star but Mrs. Charla, who dealt with me after my ticket was thrown at her seemed transparent and honest. So hopefully they didnt do nothing to my car behind the scenes and I dont break down! At this point I dont put it passed them.

I came in as a walk in bc I had missed my appointment the prior week. I had made my appointment through Dusty in customer service at the Prattville dealership. I was greeted by one employee as I drove up and he asked me if I was there for a recall. I assumed they had several coming in for that bc he had a list in hand. That employee directed me in to Dusty. He very quickly got my car in the line up for service. I had a nail in tire, needed oil change and alignment. Dusty called me before the service was complete and let me know my car was due for servicing in three different areas and asked if I wanted them to go ahead and do it. After he told me the price I said I would have to wait until next month. Dusty overheard me speaking to my friend about my truck and he inquired what I needed done and he said they could help me with it so I also brought my truck in and they quickly changed my oil and checked my transmission fluid for me. (my car is 2012 chevy Malibu, my truck is 2002 ford f150 with lift and big tires/wheels). I did not know they could service my truck being that is oversized. When I picked up my car, Dusty showed me my alignment and explained how it was bad and showed me the after print out. I had used an oil change place for my car last time and was overcharged. I did not think a dealership would be cheaper but they were by far. Overall they all did a great job helping me. Dusty and the guy that checked me out at service was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely use them again.

On March 10, 2015 I brought a 2006 Cadillac STS to the service department at Larry Puckett to diagnose and repair 2 service indications which had began appearing. The indications were that the air bag and tire monitor required servicing. I met with Marie Turnage in the service department. Marie was very pleasant to work with and did a thorough job of visually inspecting the car. Afterward, Marie took sufficient time with me to understand the issues that I wanted addressed. She was thoughtful enough to ask if I needed a ride home. Based on previous experiences with other dealership service departments, I was apprehensive of the cost that would be incurred from the repairs. In those experiences the cost of the repairs was much greater than what the service consultant estimated. That was not the case at Larry Puckett. In fact, the cost was far less than I had expected. The repairs ended up being minor and the honesty and integrity of the service department was reflected in the invoice. It is comforting to know that there is a local dealership service department that you can trust.

Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and helpful during the purchase of my 2008 Corvette. Brad the salesman and Raymond the used car sales manager were very attentive and answered all of my questions. The finance (giant brain) guru Doug also made the experience quick and painless. The sale was complete when Mark Barret (General Manager) came by to shake hands and thank me for the purchase. This was definitely the best car purchase Ive experienced and trust me I have had several. I would recommend this dealer because they want to sell cars and will work with you to get the price your happy with. I personally do not like the "no haggle" dealerships because that is half the fun. If I wanted a "no haggle" experience then Walmart should start selling cars...whats the point? From my perspective, everything is negotiable especially when it involves your trade in and money. Bottom-line: Larry Puckett Chevrolet wants your business and is there to make your car purchase enjoyable.

I called ahead and told them I was coming down. When I arrived I was met by "Chris" a salesman. I told him I was interested in a new 2014 Chevrolet Cruz Diesel and he had one right outside the door. I liked what I saw and asked for a price. He gave me a price but it was well above what my Insurance company "USAA" said they could get it for me. After a very short talk between the sales person and the sales manager they said they would match the USAA price. I then said it was down to what they would give me on my trade in. They looked it over a gave me a quote which was within a few hundred dollars of Kellys Black Book high side average trade. I mentioned if we could get that a little closer to the high side I thought we could deal. They came back within forty dollars of it and they rest was just simple paper work and no pressure. All staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
