My son just had his 17th birthday this past weekend. We had eaten a cake from whole foods a few weeks before that was amazing and wanted to get that same cake for his birthday. We had no idea what it was called but when I described it to the very nice gentleman on the phone from the bakery department he told me it was a Chantilly cake. So off we went to pick one up, from Fairhope. Well, when we got home it wasnt the same cake it had a very different frosting. Sad and disappointed I called to order another cake. I talked to a few different ladies in the bakery and we thought we had it figured out. Not feeling good with the order I called back the next morning and spoke to the very nice, enthusiastic gentleman I spoke to the day before. He told me they had changed the recipe on the frosting, apologized repeatedly and made us a new cake with the old, but extremely super yummy frosting. To the gentleman from the bakery you have exceptional customer service skills! That cake you made for us was worth driving to Mobile and paying for twice! I just wanted you to know you made a 17 year old boy and his guests very happy! Thank you!

I have been to every Whole Foods in Alabama and Georgia and this is the worst by far. Yes, the shelves are well stocked, but the departments are very scattered and not in any order. Plus, they cant make a fresh juice! This is Whole Foods and I cant get a freshly prepared juice. The hot bar wasnt even 1/4 filled with food. And the staff was very unhelpful. When I asked where something was, theyd send me to another department. When I got there, that department would send me to another department and blame the previous department.... when they were all wrong and didnt know what they were talking about. Plus they looked at me like an idiot just for wanting a fresh juice. I only asked for orange juice and they said they could give me some from the batch they made me yesterday?!?! The only helpful and nice person was a guy in the butcher dept. I should have gotten his name because he was the only person in the place with any sense of what a Whole Foods should be.

This is probably one of the best stores Ive ever been in. Excellent customer service from the cashiers. Deejay, Carla, Monica, Jessica, Sylvia, Rick, Brittany, Yeon, Bianca, are amazing at their jobs as supervisors and cashiers. The bakery is one of the best parts of whole foods. Clinton, Kerri, Angela, Steven, Tyler, and Brian will have your back with creating anything sweet you can imagine. The pizza is also some of the best Ive ever had! With awesome people behind the counter that make everything possible in the pizzeria and prepared foods. Amalie and Claire in the cheese and wine speciality are some of the most knowledgeable and sweet ladies Ive ever met. Every time I go in the store, the grocery team makes me laugh and I never leave without a smile on my face. Thank you all for the best experience possible. I know you all work so hard for it.

Im so happy Whole Foods put a store within biking distance from my campus!! I have loved their stores since I visited the 1 in Mountain Brook. This store also is better than the ones they have in New Orleans. I feel like its more welcoming & there are more options. But please, bring back those rare cheeses & that special pinkish sauce Mountain Brook had in a tall bottle at their bread section. I cant think of the name or what it was. But it was creamy & delicious. Oh, & bring in that bread section where we can try samples of the different olive oils. That was amazing. Now there is 1 oil I remember that I also loved & I want yall to carry. Its from the company Sonoma Gourmet. Its a Dip-N-Toss kind of oil. I still have a little bit of the Sun-Dried Tomato Basil left.

This place is awesome. So many options, from gluten free to good ole pizza. This place has it all. I love coming here each time. They also have a growler station which is nice and the deli is outstanding. Pizza slices bigger than your arm. Also the selection of meats and seafood that are extremely fresh is what I like coming in to see. Nothing looks like it was frozen except maybe some of the seafood which is understandable, I especially like the seafood case. They have a whole octopus in there.

As a travel nurse, Ive visited my share of Whole Foods markets. This one, by far, has the worst food bar ever. Whoever is cooking the food, obviously doesnt take pride in their cooking. The food is ill prepared, the choices are limited, the food presentation is barely tolerable, and more often than not, they run out of to-go boxes. Not the pleasant Whole Foods experience one would expect.

Honestly surprised this is a Whole Foods. I love eating from the hot bar at other locations but this was just sad. Everything had already been pulled up or was wilted, stale, or off color. This was at six o clock. I was told if I wanted more options I should come in at 11 or 4, but I cant foresee trying this again.

Pleasant & helpful staff. Thanks for Whole Foods 365 brand reasonably priced organic products: crackers, cookies, shampoo, etc. They were open early morning hours on Thanksgiving so when my pumpkin pie failed I picked up an organic one at their bakery. Must try their Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookie - heaven!

I love Whole foods it is the mother ship for we crazy vegan folks that worry about free trade and conflict free organic food. However I have shopped all over the country in Whole Foods and just a bit disappointed in the one in Mobile. It is a bit limited. I miss the range of teas and salts and spices.

I just love good healthy food. I fell in love with Whole Foods in Florida and was very excited when they built one right here in Mobile, Al. The store is not that big, but big enough . Staff is pleasant, the store is clean. Good food, you can buy and dine in right there in the store. Its a nice spot

All things health food. But the great thing about whole food is the beer you can get a Pint straight from the tap. Did I mention the free taste test that comes along with... you can try before you buy.

Amazing market with a wide variety of upscale food. The prepared food area looks to have a great deal of ready to eat food ranging from pizza to sushi to meats. Quite impressive.

Clean, great selection. Wonderful staff. Wish their was another whole foods in town. The location was weird bc there is a publix and a fresh market less than 1/2 a mile away.
