While the flowers were pretty, I was sending these to my wife at her job because she was coming back from our second child. My wife called me at 545pm and said that the flowers were finally dropped off at 450pm, 20 minutes after she left. I was told by the sales rep that I should have specified to drop the flowers off at an earlier time. Wow. Anyways, I requested my money back and they said they would, but a week later Im still waiting. I wont do business here again. After THREE WEEKS and multiple phone calls, i was finally able to receive my refund, but not after i was told that I shouldnt use them anymore because I didnt return the flowers that my wife never even got to see until the next day. I was reprimanded by the owner of the establishment for asking for a refund and that she was tired of dealing with me, not allowing me to state my case or anything. She even hung up on me after telling me that I should find another florist. No need to worry, Maam, I already did that with Zimlich and was very pleased with their timeliness and service. Ill stick with them from here on out.

A rather rude sales woman was "helping" me order flowers for a pick up. As I explained to her twice what I needed she told me that placing the order "didnt make any kind of sense". Its quite simple really. I needed to pick up 8 different types of loose flowers- about 5 stems of each different kind. Not arranged. Simple, easy, shouldnt have been a problem. I work at a florist in Texas and our number 1 priority is to recieve payment for flowers and make those customers happy. If Cleveland florist is not in that buiness, then its obviously misadvertised as a place of buisness. As a sales person, I would never turn down a sale, especially a sale as easy as pulling some flowers from a cooler and handing them over. To be told something that is blatantly simple "doesnt make any kind of sense" several times after repeating it several times is idiotic. After years and years of my family giving Cleveland buisness, we will be going to one of your competitors who actually can make sense of a SIMPLE ORDER.

I was VERY unhappy with Cleveland florist. It always seemed that she was more focused on what she knew as a florist than what I wanted as a bride. I put a deposit down with them for my wedding and met with them on two separate occasions. I was hoping to hash out a wedding proposal. I know what I want when it comes to style. But I could never get specifics from them. She ask how many girls, guys, mothers, grandmothers, and gave us an estimate on price. At the second meeting she rushed through and had to leave for a personal meeting. I Went in wanting to know what we were going to get at my wedding for our 1,000 dollars... and left feeling like I was just going have to wait until the wedding to see... and I am not okay with that. SO WE CANCELED AND GOT OUR MONEY BACK. As far as I can tell Cleveland The Florist does a beautiful job.

For mothers day i read a bunch of reviews to try and find the perfect flowers for my mother-inlaw. i looked on the website and i like their flower selection so we ordered. well we order them for the friday before bc we knew it might be too busy for that sunday. when my fiancee called to check on the order they LOST IT and said they had no record of it at all. we ordered on line and when we called the florist they said to call the bank there was no record of them taking our money. so we called the bank and they refunded the account. however maybe a hour later my fiancee got a call and said the flowers were at her house????? we paid over 75.00 for about 7 tulips and on the website it was about 20 and in a deep purple. she got lite pink and purple and they were dead by monday!!! THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I EVER USE THESE PEOPLE.

Nothing like what my wife ordered for me on our anniversary. Back of card attached said "Consult the accompanying plant care tag" but there wasnt one so I emailed the address on the website to ask for care details. After a week still no reply so I rang up the Old Shell store with my order number and was told that they dont provide care instructions for cut flowers; I pointed out that it was a pot with succulents in so they transferred me to the Airport store. The lady there couldnt get me off the phone fast enough and said that they dont do care instructions, "just give it 2 teasponns of water every week" - and hung up. Horrible, horrible customer service and why o why have an email address on your website if you arent going to respond?

I hired Cleveland for my wedding which was just a couple of weeks ago. While the arrangements were beautiful, I cannot reccomend them. My mother went in to the store about a week before my wedding to ask if there was a room divider that we could rent. While she was there, she was told that there was no record of our order which had already been paid for. I believe that had my mother not stopped by just a week before my wedding, Cleveland would not have delivered anything. What was delivered was lovely, but it was definitely not what I ordered. I am now looking for another florist for a reception in just under two weeks. I do not feel like I can take this business to Cleveland, because I have doubts that it would be fulfilled.

LeNae and her team did an outstanding job for the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding for my son and his bride. Being from Maryland, and not knowing anything about florists in the Mobile area, we were beyond thrilled to work with Cleveland the Florist. From Rehearsal Dinner glorious centerpieces to Wedding Day chair arrangements, bouquets and boutonnières, votives, floating candles and lighted garland, the week before Christmas wedding weekend was filled with beauty. Thank you, LeNae and staff, for being delightful to work with (and from afar, being that Im out-of-state!), and creating such beautiful flower arrangements. You so captured what Mike and Michelle wanted! Thank you so much! Lynne Degen

I am getting married in Aug. and have attempted to set up an appointment several times. During the month of May after attempting to set up an appointment 3 times (which resulted in playing phone tag) I was finally told to just call back in June because they were too busy in May because of Mothers Day. I call back on the 4th of June (A Thursday) and after explaining that I am willing to meet at any time, I was told to call back on Monday to set up an appointment because they had a wedding to prepare for this weekend. My questions are...how long does it take to set up an appointment? I have to call back in 5 days just to set up an appointment? Bad business and will be taking mine elsewhere.

I ordered a ficus type leaf plant for a funeral that costs $90+ including delivery. I was floored when I saw the plant. It was not very tall and was very not full at all....when the lady told me the plant was very full! There were also brown spots on several of the leaves. Someone from Cleveland could have at least trimmed the brown edges with scissors . I tried to take a picture of the plant without being obvious so I could show Cleveland but I didnt get a chance to. Cleveland did credit my account for a small percentage. If I order from Cleveland again, I will personally look at the plant before its delivered.
