The most important events in ones life are birth, death and getting married. Typically we like to celebrate these special occasions with flowers to show our love and affection. For the latter two, Death and Marriage, timing is essential for providing an impactful message. So when I found out that my best friends mother had passed unexpectedly, I wanted to show my deepest condolences by providing a decadent piece in her favorite color purple. Not being from the area, I used online reviews to find a reputable local florist. I found Fresh & Silk Flowers and called to order a wonderful looking $250 arrangement from their online page, and provided the deceaseds name, location of the services, even adding the time and date. A day after the service I get a call the worst call, asking for for another delivery address. I thought that a local business, would take the effort to double check with the funeral home to make sure that an essential error was not made especially during an emotional time in ones life. I thought a local business would pride themselves in distinguishing themselves apart from a big "1-800" company, providing a connection to the community they served. Due to this mistake being made, being an unsatisfied customer asked for a refund. Apparently, the customer is always wrong with Fresh & Silk Flowers. This local business does not care about you, they care about your money. My recommendation is to save yourself time, money and aggravation by finding another florist to meet your needs. Maybe you will actually find a company that will care about getting and making things right, not just for pure profit. I unfortunately know from first hand experience this is not what you will get with Fresh & Silk Flowers.

To my fellow gentlemen. Lets just lay our cards out on the table. Like you, I didnt know anything about flowers besides that they are magical creations that seem to be able to make woman smile. So when I was trying to out maneuver other wolves for the attention of a beautiful woman, I took a note from history and got her flowers. But roses wouldnt do, they were uncreative and frankly boring. And lets be honest here, besides roses I didnt really know one flower from another. So I read a few of the other reviews and took a chance. I stopped into the store and flat out asked for help. I knew the woman in question had a few favorite colors, so I worked with the owner and within 5 minutes had a spectacular and unique bouquet of flowers. His eye for how each flower worked together to add to the whole arrangement was simply amazing. Not only that, but he is a very entertaining gentlemen. Ask him about working on the movie the Dark Knight. Anyway, so after about 10 minutes (5 extra of him putting on a few additional touches and me paying for the flowers), I left and headed off to try my hand at wooing the lady in question. I wasnt the only one to get her flowers or some other gift to try and get her attention. I was the only one to get a response and invited out to dinner that night. She loved the flowers and picked me because of the beautiful arrangement (especially using her favorite colors). So long story short: If you are classy and wise enough to still use flowers, go to this store and ask for their help. Their passion and energy will help you get a flower arrangement/bouquet that is sure to be noticed and appreciated. Side note: Thank you to the owner. You sir are simply marvelous.

We used Fresh and Silk for our wedding day and I can proudly say that they were by far the most amazing people we had worked with throughout our planning process. From start to finish they were nothing but good, honest, helpful people. I had this idea in my head for a centerpiece that I was dead set on, and even though there were some doubts about how well it would work out, they made it happen and it looked amazing! But they also threw out other suggestions just in case it wasnt going to happen. When my husband and I walked into our reception hall I was beyond thrilled with how it all turned out. It truly exceeded my expectations of what I had in my head and I am so happy for that. The bouquets were so beautiful too and they turned out exactly how I wanted them. Everything was obviously fresh and so vibrant with color, we were being complimented all night on how great the flowers looked. If youre ever in need of any type of floral arrangement this is the place to go without a doubt and I would recommend them to anyone

This florist is amazing! The workers are friendly and helpful! I ordered 2 bouquets for my granddaughters to present them with after a play they were in. My flowers were the BEST of any cast members! I was proud to give them. I also ordered a Christmas arrangement to send to an elderly aunt and uncle, and instead of rushing out something they "had on hand" they are waiting until next week to get the FRESHEST possible flowering plant. This is the ONLY florist I will use from now on!

This place was a gem in my last minute search for a bouquet and boutonniere. I called the store and Mr. Jim answered and directed me right to his store. I made it there and he listened to what I was interested in, occasion, and price point. The next day the flowers were ready and I loved them! I was most impressed with the quality of work, given the short notice. Another plus is that the flowers lasted longer than I expected. Money was well spent.

If you are an online shopper for flowers, I compel you to find an arrangement you like and then CALL this florist to order the same or similar. The freshest flowers I have ever received. My bouquet lasted so long I started to think it was silk!!! Plus, it arrived ready to display and enjoy--no chore to cut stems and arrange in a vase. A professional florist who cares passionately about customer experience and the community.
