They tortured my dog, this place should be closed for grooming services. We dropped our dog off around 9:15am for his 9:30 am appointment and after checking him in we were told we should receive a call within 3 to 4 hours, 4 hours went by and no phone call. I had a bad vibe and decided to drive to pick him up only to learn he wasn’t ready as they insisted my dogs appointment was at 2pm and not 9:30am as I was stating and they had just started bathing my dog and would take 2 hours to have him ready that I should leave and come back… I wasn’t willing to do that as I didn’t felt my dog was safe there, and ask them to just give me my dog as he was and one of the groomers went to check something on the computer and said we tried to call you I ask them when and they realize no one had contacted me to notify me that apparently all of a sudden they’ve experience a delay and my dogs appointment was in fact at 9:30am but due to the delay he was awaiting to be trimmed. I informed them I was going to wait for my dog as I was not leaving without him, happened they were trying to give me someone else’s dog with the same name as mine “Max” and when they printed my ticket to go checkout they were given me a different customers name work order to go pay for. I could have taken someone else’s dog if I wasn’t an honest person, they don’t even know how to keep track of dogs owners or how to identify dog vs. owner, ridicules; and then the groomer that was going to trimmed him finished trimming the dog she was working on and took him back into the cage and toss him back in there, she literally threw him back into it… You excuse me but this is abuse to pets what they are doing at these location and should be further determine if need be to be closed. She picked up my dog and brought him over to begin trimming him obviously because my daughter and I were there she couldn’t be rough with him as he was being a little anxious and more than ready to go home, she was rough with him without us being able to notice it until we got home, she cut his hair so close to his skin in some areas that just hurts to watch, the cut was poorly done. He looks like I trimmed him, I probably would done a better job and not traumatize him like that, he has been pretty upset since and we’ve try to comfort him but will not be easy to forget being abused by who knows how many of those groomers for over 4 hours and watch other dogs being abused by them. While I was waiting for my dog I observed several dogs being brought in for grooming services and there was one in particular that caught my attention because he was terrified of going in, and his owner said as big as he is he is such baby, and I am not sure why because the first time he came he went in with no problem and now he doesn’t want to go in, they had to carry him in… Oh HINT your dog is terrified of going in there because was probably scared or abused by one of the groomers, the poor lab was shaking and crying. I’ve taken my dog to other PetSmart location for grooming before and the experience was nothing like it, however going forward I will be more careful at selecting grooming services for my dog and PetSmart will definitely not be my choice. Extremely disappointing, animals should never be miss treated.

I am shocked reading these reviews, I have been coming here for as long as they have been open, I buy all of my dog food here and they also have been grooming my dog since she was a puppy and she is 4and half now, I have never had a bad experience at the grooming dept., Dennis and Andrea (Andy) have always groomed Scarlett noone else, they have always done an excellent job, I wouldnt use a groomer I have never tried. I do know that sometimes it is chaotic in there and at times it seems like they are not giving you the best service possible because they are so busy but I let that slide due to the nature of the business. My main concern is the treatment of my pet,and thank God my little girl gets beyond excited to go for her grooming day as we call it ", spa day", she knows when we are going and gets soooo excited and just carries on all the way in the car just dog talking away and when I park she cant wait to go inside she wont even let me get her harness on, she drags me to the door and his straight to the salon, no hesitation at all has never been scared or upset. So I am appalled at these reviews I have read. I have seen some groomers be rough with animals and I will not tolerate it for one second. You are a coward if you mistreat a pet let alone someone elses pet. They have no voice and can not tell their owners when they have been mistreated, its absolutely horrible, but I am here to say I have not had any bad experiences here but I am aware it could happen and if it does I will be posting it. I think like everything else in the world, you have great and caring groomers and some that are just there to make a buck, unfortunately. I figure if my dog was being mistreated she would let me know by her demeanor and to this day she still gets ecstatic to go for her beauty day. And I am so sorry for the people that took their pets here and had a horrifying experience, I wouldnt come back either if Id had their problems. One more thing there is a asst mngr. there that is an older woman with short blonde hair that is rude, acts like she would rather be anywhere but there and laughs off customer complaints. Have not had good experiences with the mngtmnt there.Good Luck everyone let your pet be the judge their actions tell everything!

My husband and I just left PetSmart Alliance this morning after one of the worst customer service experiences weve ever had. After scheduling a 7am drop-off time in grooming for our yorkie, we stood in line for 20 minutes. No big deal. Once we got inside the grooming doors, a dog had peed (again, no big deal), but one of the employees made a comment saying, "see, this is why we need a mop". Really? A dog grooming salon with no mop? Thats disgusting. We proceeded to walk up to the counter where we were "greeted" by a young lady with a long black ponytail, glasses, and very very long neon nails. She had no personality other than a rude, disassociated temperament with an annoyed affect. After my husband assured her that our pet had been to this location before, she proceeded to ask for demographics. Halfway in, I realized she was re-entering our pet into the system and not looking her up. Fine. We finished, and then she said, "Did you bring her shot records?" I told her "no, the person I spoke with on the phone said they would get them from Banfield here". The young lady proceeded to say that no, they dont do that before we show up with the pet, its our responsibility and "sometimes yall cancel, so we dont do all of that, you know?". Im sure this was an overall comment regarding customers in general, but we have never canceled EVER, not that she would have seen that because she refused to look us up, and we are a minority couple, which caused us to pause further regarding her comment. As we walked out to Banfield to get the records, my normally patient husband said "I really dont want to leave her here". I vehemently agreed, we got a copy of our pets records, and will be taking her elsewhere for grooming. PetSmart, you have cared for my Old English Sheepdog from cradle to grave, my min-pin from cradle to now at almost 8, and our yorkie who just turned 6. I have never had an experience like this, and am very saddened that the commercials with happy, smiley people who are "partners in pethood" are not the standard to which you uphold the groomers in Alliance. Love your store, love Banfield, love PetsHotel, but this experience was truly the worst.
