Booked an appointment to have both dogs groomed. They booked me for the wrong appointment. Having two dogs in my hands had me sign a paper regarding pricing. Which I couldnt take the time to read. checked out after waiting in a check out line for 30 plus minutes with a line backed to the end of the store. got home and realzed my dog was given the wrong bath. When booking the appointment I was very specific with the worker. I called to correct this and they wouldnt do anything about it because they got me on my signature. Very very disappointed in the service and retition. Its a rush job and a money hungry service for them. They are so busy but need to slow down and PAY ATTENTION TO STUFF. I shouldnt have to over work myself because of their mistakes. I shouldnt have to scream at them for them to get the hint okay this is what I want. If you work the pet depart why not have a worker specifically on the desk only not all over the place. Grooming and then having to bring the dog to the counter to answer a phone and then to deal with customers on top of it. Give your workers a break and hire help. This is pet smarts and poor management. ALSO its a boring experience for them. Other and many places make it more a spa day for them. I work long hours this was supposed to be a good relaxing experience for them. Ill go else where the communication isnt lacking and the workers have once specific job instead of 50 million things.

I typically always shop at PetSmart however I will never be back after my experience today. I took my small Shih Tzu -mix in to get groomed today. After finishing some paper work, they took her back and my husband and I left. Not even 20 minutes later I receive a phone call from the groomer, Megan, that my dog was very stressed out and she did not feel comfortable working with, so we turned around and went back to get her. As soon as she was brought out to us I noticed that her right eye was swollen and appeared to be bleeding. I proceeded to ask what had happened to her eye and the groomer seemed oblivious. After pushing further as to what had caused the inflammation the store manager was brought over and we were seen by a vet. We were assured by the groomer, vet, and store manager that it was likely due to stress. We were given medication and sent on our way. However, feeling unsatisfied with the explanation we were given we took her to another vet (not associated with PetSmart) for a second opinion. After an eye exam that vet declared that the injury to our dogs eye was not due to stress and was likely caused by mistreatment or mishandling. After the this experience in which we were treated rudely and not informed of our pets condition or the cause I WILL never be back. I would not recommend using PetSmart grooming services and would certainly not recommend Megan. STAY AWAY!!!!

I was carrying a large bag of dog food when I went up to register number one. The woman at the register was laying her head down on the counter talking on the phone. It was obvious that she was trying to help someone on the phone and the person on the phone was probably taking up a lot of her time. Meanwhile Im standing holding a large bag of dog food without a cart. I asked the woman that was on the phone if I could just put the dog food down on the counter but she didnt acknowledge me. So I set it down on the counter anyway to one side so I wouldnt interfere with her. Two or three minutes went by and she got off the phone. I know its difficult to stand on your feet all day. I know its difficult to talk to customers on the phone when youre trying to check out people at the same time. I tried to be patient but the bag of dog food was a little heavy and I was tired. This is not my normal idea of PetSmart. They have always been over the top trying to help. This one just stuck in my mind because I didnt know when I first walked up if the woman was in distress of some kind. She obviously was not but I was obviously not as important as the person on the phone. Maybe people working in the register shouldnt have to talk on the phone and check out customers.

I just want to start off by saying the petsmart I went to in Florida every 2weeks was phenomenal. So when I moved to Tennessee I figured it would be good as well... boy was I wrong. I was taking my baby, Scooter, to have his nails cut. I walked back to the grooming area and saw this... woman... pulling a little Yorkie around by his chin hair aggressively and trying to yank out a matt of hair on top of his head with a wired brush... the poor baby was terrified and trying to get away from her! I should have just left but I couldnt... I told one of the girls and she went and said something to her. I was hesitant to let them take my baby and do his nails but the lady assured me that woman would not be doing his nails. So I walked around the store for a few minutes then heard my baby crying clear across the store!!! I hurried back to the grooming area and saw them holding my baby down cutting and grinding his nails while he just cried! I pounded on the glass and yelled THATS ENOUGH!! Give me my baby! That woman was lucky I didnt break her neck. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Nor ever go back! And I have reported the horrible grooming personnel. Please NEVER take your babies to the grooming area! I used to love PetSmart....

Worse adoption process ever. We went in to adopt a kitten, and found a beautiful grey boy named zack. My 3 kids fell in love with him and the owner of the adoption agency was talking on and on with us about him and cats in general. The kids and I must of sat there for 30 mins holding him and playing with him before the owner tells us its no problem to adopt him out to us as long as our vet clinic says our other pet which is one German sheperd who is my 4th baby is up to date with all her shots. Which was of course very true. So she assured us by Monday we should be able to pick him up. Monday comes nothing, Tuesday nothing. I call them she basically says they are busy she will call me back. I call my vet office to see if she has called and nope, no inquiries. The vet office says they always note the system if adoption Agencies call and she has not. Weds, thurs and Friday same thing. I go to petsmart and manager tells me she so sorry and doesnt know why this lady isnt returning my calls by now. She tells me they are not affiliated with the agency that they just use their building to adopt out. Needless to say we did no more chasing and my children were heartbroken. Worse company ever. Cats r us is a nightmare be aware.

Grooming department staff is in serious need of customer service skills. I had an appt to get my dog groomed, planned my day around it loaded her up and get there and the groomer had called out sick. Thats fine people get sick but you couldnt call the customers that were scheduled with him to tell them and reschedule before they drive all the way there!? I stopped going there after this and started using the village animal groomer for the past 2 years. I then call petsmart yesterday to make sure they can do walk in nail clippings and of course they say yes. I loaded up the dogs arrive and they tell me I need their paperwork before a nail clipping. Once again.. Thats fine I didnt even think about it because its just a nail clipping but when I called yesterday that young girl that said "Yes, nail clipping is a walk-in service" should have offered this bit of info to ensure a smooth transaction. Its really the small things in life that can make or break me and I will not allow this to happen again. Yall need to re-train these employees they do this for a living they should be able to properly educate consumers on whats needed during a visit and be able to call people of someone has an appt so they dont waste their time.
