March 31, 2016 Friday the 31st was the day my wife Ginger and I purchased a 2009 Toyota Sienna from DAY Toyota Scion inPleasant Hills PA, but more importantly, the day that we had the pleasure of working with some of the most personable, and superior in quality, employees. We had an appointment set up through the internet, were immediately greeted in the parking lot, offered beverages and a seat, then set up with one David Rager. David turned out to be a perfect match for us that day, meeting our every need and answering our every question very prompt and professionally and making sure everything was clear and no confusion. Ray Kling was also involved after spending a good bit of time with David, we had come to the conclusion we liked the vehicle. These two were a joy to work with, which may be an understatement in itself, very down to earth and little to no pressure when discussing all the options we had with our trade in, which we did in turn do a trade in, and also with financing..Etc. We took the car and began the financial portion. Worst part ever right?, WRONG, not with this wonderful staff, we were then introduced to Ryan from finances who kept right up with the quality experienced thus far. He made this part go very smoothly, spoke very clearly, and was very quick with an answer to any our questions. We also had the pleasure of being introduced to some of Day Toyotas other very friendly, and memorable staff John Palonder. It was a long afternoon, but at the end of the day we were very happy with our purchase, and more importantly we were happy with choosing Day Toyota Scion in Pleasant Hills. Once again a special thanks to David, Ray & Ryan. Kind Regards, Jacob Slater

First off I simply HATE buying cars, I always feel like I was ripped off or taken advantage of after buying one. But the car I had bought new was now 14 years old with 150k miles and it was time. Jon was my salesman and he was polite, knowledgeable and never pushy. He talked to me and not down at me and treated me like a person and not just a potential sale. Explained everything and made the whole process quite easy. I had found the car I wanted on their web site so I pretty much knew what I wanted. We took it for a spin, he showed me all the bells and whistles etc. I had done a lot of research on the car and pretty much knew what a fair price was. He offered me what I thought was a fair price so I said lets do it. There was no arm twisting to buy extras like the extended warranty etc. Last car I bought I almost walked out of the dealership because the finance guy went on and on about how I needed it. Not here, no pressure at all, it was simply offered to me, I said no and that was that! I opted to get the paint chip protection because the car I traded in had some serious paint chips. When it took 3 weeks to get an appointment to have it applied, Jon made sure I got a free tank of gas! My only small complaint was the the finance rate wasnt the greatest. There was a choice between 2k off the price or 0% finance and I took the 2k off. If you belong to a credit union you can likely do better. Over all, a great experience and I think this car I will actually consider trading in after 6-7 years instead of 14 and will defiantly come back to Day! Once I use the service department I will post an update on how that goes!

I walked into Day Toyota planning to buy my lease out on the vehicle I currently had. I thought there was no other option. The car had damage I could not afford to repair. The story is unbelievable so I will leave the unnecessary out. The interior of my 2013 Corolla was covered in light grey paint. When I walked in Ray Kling (a salesman) met me at the door with a smile and a friendly presence. It isnt what I expected walking into a dealership. I was prepared for the cheesy money hungry salesman to follow me around. He approached me like he was a friend of a friend. Not pushy, not hungry for the sale, nothing like that. I had the impression he wanted to do what ever was best for my pockets, not his. He spent time with me explaining my options and how we could possible get a new car, even with the damage. He explained what insurance would actually cover for me at little to no cost to me. I called the insurance company and explained the incident, sure enough Ray was spot on with my options. I decided buying a new car would benefit the needs of my life. Then we went for test drives and went over the options of the different models I was looking at. My family and I decided on the perfect car, and We love it. The showroom was clean and business friendly. The managers, salesmen and financial rep were extremely knowledgeable. Great experience.

My Review: Absolutely amazing customer service! I can honestly say it was the best experience I have EVER had at a dealership. Everyone was kind and helpful. They worked as a team and I didn’t feel pressured! After visiting 5 other dealerships I was beginning to get frustrated and discouraged. When I entered Day Toyota, I was greeted immediately by name before I even introduced myself. They were very well organized ! I instantly felt comfortable. I dealt with John Petrovich, Wayne Scholar and Guy Lettieri (Manager)....they all had great personalities and really made the process enjoyable. If they should be available when you arrive to the dealership, I suggest you speak to one of them! The facility is very nice. They have a very large waiting area with refreshments and a section just for children. The office and restrooms were immaculate. They really work hard to get you in and out.... I would highly recommend this dealership! I was very impressed, they really exceeded my expectations. I plan on visiting often for my free car wash and just to say hello.

What a fun and great car buying experience. Day Toyota Pleasant Hills is fantastic! Dealt with Gary Fritch who is a down to earth, no pressure salesman and genuine nice guy. With Lisas disability she needs something big enough to install a scooter lift. She really wanted the Tacoma and they located one for her in orange only to find after the fact there is no cover that will work once you install the lift. So back to the drawing board. At this point instead of getting upset because they already did one dealer trade, Gary, and Chris Pestino went to work to get Lisa the 4 Runner in the color and options she wanted. And then Lisa being the animal lover she is, says to them, I want to meet Debbie Campbell the owner and her beautiful Huskys. And guess what...they made that happen too. Thanks Ted Cole. Debbie was so warm and wonderful. Spent over an hour with us talking and taking pictures and having fun. And Marco was an awesome dog! This is truly how all car buying experiences should be.

These guys replaced my timing belt only 36,000 miles ago (timing belts should last 60,000-100,000 miles). My car stopped running and I took it to a certified mechanic who told me it was the timing belt. I said it couldnt be because it was just replaced. I called Day Toyota, and they told me it was beyond the 12,000 mile warranty and that they wouldnt do anything for me. I had the mechanic open up the engine and turns out there was debris on the crankshaft left over by the the people at Day Toyota who obviously didnt do a proper installment and make sure everything was clean such that the timing belt ended up gradually coming off every time it went around. I would only recommend going to these guys if you want shoddy work done.
