Absolutely awesome experience with Belmonte Auto Imports. Initially, I was a little leery due to it being a small used car business and the rapport these types of businesses generally have. I was searching for a particular year, make and model car thus I spent a lot of time searching for the "perfect one" all over the U.S.A. 02, BMW, M3 Coupe. My search ended at Belmonte Auto Imports. Within 10 minutes of being there, I knew these guys genuinely cared about their vehicles and who (including their family) they were selling to. I saw my car; Belmonte knew everything about the car and I mean everything - previous owner, every place the car was serviced, what modifications the car had, who drove the car, what the car was used for, title work, and even projected / foreseen issues the car could have. They even pulled carfaxes for other cars I was going to check out in which Belmonte was not selling. I test drove the car with one of the owners at Belmonte and received a driving lesson (If you know anything about M3s they are a sports car of BMW) - something I will take with me the rest of my life. After the test drive, there was no pressure like most car dealerships do; simply allowing me my wife, daughter and I take our time. I wrote the check out and drove home with my dream car. About 3 weeks later, I received a call from Belmonte; they obtained over $1000 worth of parts, documents, etc the previous owner dropped off for my car with no additional charge; just a simple handshake with smile is all I owed. I have owned many cars and sincerely have never had a better experience like I had with Belmonte Auto Imports. I understand this review sounds too good to be true and some people and paid to write reviews like this but I am here to tell you that is not the case with me; I simply want my experience to be known how awesome everything was for me!

I had a HORRIBLE experience with them, specifically their timeliness to (attempt to) correct my situation. They are very friendly and even slightly accommodating, until you have made your purchase and then you become their last priority in the world. I do appreciate that they did help me eventually try to resolve the issue but that only happened because I was EXTREMELY perseverant and continued to follow up with them every week via phone and e-mail. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET ANY VEHICLE THEY ARE SELLING VERY CAREFULLY INSPECTED BY A GOOD MECHANIC BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. Also, do some research on Penn Warranty before you buy an expensive extended warranty at this dealer because Penn Warranty is abbbssollute garbage. Penn Warranty denies at least 60% of my claims and doesnt pay for incidental damage, tax, or rental cars. I would rather have kept my $2,000 and paid for the repairs myself over having Penn Warranty... Belmonte also told me the warranty would transfer over to the new vehicle they traded me but Penn denied the transfer so there goes $1,000 worth of warranty I paid for.

I was referred by a friend which made me feel better making an online purchase. I selected my car and I had an over the phone walk around. I wasnt told that the dash was cracked in half, nor that the park assist light was inoperable (the light stays on for it so it want just over looked), I wasnt told the DVD player played but had no sound, I wasnt told the cd player didnt work, and I was flat out told that the tires were still good for at least another 10k miles and that the headlights were clear. All 4 tires had to be replaced immediately bc the belt was showing through. I have called several times to resolve the issues...days to call back and I was told get a speaker for the DVD player and the other items have never been addressed. Go look for yourself. Everything posted here I have documented. I wish I would have been able to post 5 stars but I just feel responsible to make researchers aware of my experience, and that is all I have...my one experience. Best of luck.

Dan seems like a pretty good guy, but he doesnt follow through on promises. Bought a Lexus LX from him. When i drove it, I told him repeatedly that it did not steer right, and it has a check engine light on. I would have passed on the car, but Dan agreed to fix all the issues. The issue were lower ball joints were bad and steering arm was bent, as well as the oxygen sensor was no good causing a check engine light. Total work is roughly $1000. It is going on 3 weeks at this point, and Dan will not resolve the issues. On top of that, he no longer is responding to calls or texts. Guys, there is a reason a dealer is more expensive, because they actually check the cars out and fix them correctly. It is a shame that people can not honor their word any more. Do not make the same mistake I made. Buy elsewhere. Good luck.

I was looking for a certain year certain type of car for about 2 years. And was looking very hard for about 4 months. Looked at alot of cars drove several 100 miles. Went to Greensboro and got very bad service and prices of vehicles were over priced at impex auto and lots of things wrong with the vehicles. But when I went to Belmonte Auto I did not have these types of problems. The pictures on the website did not do the car justice. They not only had the car I wanted they also had one that had not been suped up which is exactly what i was looking for a stock model. Vince was great to work with as well as Sandra. I had a great experience and would recommend them to anybody who ia looking for a great vehicle at a great price. Take my word!!!! Vince is "the man"

They offered decent trade in for my vehicle, but then wants to argue when you ask them to lower the price because they anre above book value on their vehicle. And then tell you well we are below market value... Really???? How about give me market value on my trade in then!!!! Also when trying to talk about making a deal. They ignore you. I even said for get the trade in I would do cash. Never heard from them. Emailed Vince (salesman) that likes to argue and Sandra ("Manager") Never heard back after I offered cash instead. To top it all, the price they even said they would drop they didnt it was 100.00 more on the BOS. I would recommend any other lot other then this one. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

These are the guys that give used car dealerships a bad name. We came looking for a truck, the one we saw had several issues, all of which were easy to miss. They agreed to fix a few, but argued with me on the rest. To this day, I cant believe we had a debate on what color the fluids in their truck actually were. To top off the experience, when we came back a few days later, after they told us they fixed what they had agreed to and it was ready to drive home, it was obvious they hadnt actually done anything. They thought they could take advantage of us and waste our time - if this was the last dealership on earth, Id walk.
