BUYER BEWARE: Do not purchase a vehicle from Victory Auto and Truck Sales on 4202 S 24th St. Trust me on this. Please. I dont want anyone else to go through what they have put my family through. We spent 2,000 on a used van. It was a 2003 Ford Windstar. It looked in great condition. My husband checked it out and agreed. The owners of Victory Auto Sales said it had a complete work over and was in excellent condition. We were so relieved! The breaks went out on my car and we so desperately needed a reliable vehicle. Victory Auto Sales was our 6th car lot of the day. They laughed along with us as we regaled them with tales of what we suffered at previous lots. They told us we should have came to Victory Auto Sales first! They were honest people (they said) and understood how hard it was to survive in this day and age. Grateful we thanked them and purchased the van. We have three kids and were thrilled to have a vehicle to fit us all comfortably. The very next morning my husband goes to start the van and the alternator quit on us. Okay, maybe they didnt realize? Its not a horribly expensive piece so we buy the part and put it in. However, it gets worse. Exactly 21 days later the van breaks down. The engine rod went out. We are being quoted 4-6000 to repair. The van cost us 2,000. We havent even registered it yet (still within the first month). I called Victory Auto Sales and the owner said he would make it right and would call us back! Two days later and still no word so I call. And they hang up on me. I call again and am told they would call me back to make it right. Still nothing. In the last seven days I have made numerous calls and they all go unanswered. We are a struggling Nebraska family. We saved and saved to be able to afford a reliable and big enough vehicle to fit all five of us comfortably. And Victory Auto Sales swindled us. They are terrible, awful buiness owners and people. Now we are in a worse predicament and it will be months before we can afford another vehicle. Please do not get stuck in my situation. Stay far far away from them and their ticking time bomb cars.
