I received a gift card from a friend for $100 toward jewelry and watch repairs. I figured I could use it to have the battery replaced on my watches. I find out the price for changing 1 watch battery is $59 so I can only get one done. It took two trips to the mall and having to wait for two hours to get it done. When I get it back they say they changed the watch battery but that because of dust or other debris inside the case that they could not test its water tight seal, and that the back may come off easily, or the battery may stop in a day or two. (This watch has been barely used and has never been opened except for a battery replacement years ago). They then recommend that I have it fully serviced which of course the $100 card would not cover. I feel like the whole thing is a scam to get additional money for repairs.

I have been a CD Peacock client for three years. There are a hand full of employees that are very nice and helpful. the others are arrogant, judgmental and condescending. I had a beautiful ring made there, working with the designer was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good. If you are looking for a professional staff and a pleasant experience, dont waste your time here.
