Update: Sept 16th... Couldnt register my car 60 days after purchase!!! 2 months after purchasing our vehicle I went to register it this morning. Turns out the back office at Hyundai of Greeley is not much better than the front. The State has yet to receive the paperwork about the sale of the vehicle. I spoke to a very pleasant woman this morning and she mentioned she was waiting to receive some paperwork from my wife. In addition to waiting for the paperwork the devastating weather in Greeley in the past week has left her swamped with work. While the weather was certainly devastating I know that we sent the required paperwork in sometime before leaving for vacation on August 2nd. So I think a month is sufficient time to get paperwork filed. NOTE TO HofG Management: If one is behind that is understandable but be professional and reach out to those who are affected. It certainly would have been nice to know I couldnt register our car today BEFORE I spent 2 hours at the DMV this morning. *************Original Post:************* Purchased a very clean used Mazda SUV from Hyundai of Greeley that we are enjoying a lot but… The car was listed as a grand touring model when, in actuality, it was only a touring model. The cause was supposedly a piece of industry software that misidentified the trim level and equipment. The dealer blindly relied on the software and didnt check the information that was generated. Unfortunately we relied on the accuracy of the online listing and equipment sticker on the car more than we should have and didnt realize the subtle but important differences until after the purchase. Live and learn I suppose. But for as nice as everyone was prior to the purchase I was more than a little disappointed that they wouldnt stand behind their mistake in any way. I now know that inaccurately listing the equipment on a used car incurs no liability for a dealer. I guess my hope that car dealers outside of Denver were different and played a more straight up game didnt play out quite like I hoped it would. Too bad since we will soon be in the market to replace our other car but this time I think Ill stay in Denver. Trust but verify...

OK for all of you who had red my honest review of Hyundai of Greeley. I stated that I liked my experience of the overall dealership. I just had a few things wrong with the car as many of us know that there are usually things wrong with used cars. The dealership has contacted me to come in and repair these things free of charge due to my review and wanting to make the deal a 5 star rating. I brought the car in and every thing was fixed as promised to me as they bent over backwards to make it right, in return I was asked to change my review of the dealership to reflect my experience. Well after reading all the google reviews and every one of them is a 5 star review and a couple of them are a 1 star it has made me wonder how many people have been in the exact situation that I have been placed in. How you can have no variance? Was my experience a 5 star? "NO" To me a 5 star is a situation is one that goes off flawlessly, and this transaction was flawed in different areas. No one else had any flaws? My Sales Consultant Patrick was 6 star to me. He was very informative and honest from the start No high pressure sales tactics used. Every thing around him was less than top notch though. I had to return on different occasions to sign different things. Some of my documentation wasnt up to par, emailing back and forth, and taking 11 different credit hits was unacceptable to me. But with all of this said I feel that this dealership is far above the rest in sales and customer service. Thank you all at Hyundai Of Greeley for your huge effort to make the difference to us customers and my experience a good one. I can say with honesty that we all stride to be above the rest and you are defiantly on your way. I will always be loyal to your dealership and send family and friends your way.

I am a second vehicle owner from this shop initially because of customer service. However, after the experience i had yesterday, I will NEVER step foot in the dealership again! Heres my story for EVERYONE who may be thinking about using this horrible Hyundai of Greeley! I had went in to get warranty work on my car. After going in and waiting for 4 hours, i was told to drive back to Ft Collins

I purchased a vehicle that appeared in Auto-trader, listed by by Hyundai of Greeley. The vehicle was a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the price was the best anyone was offering at the time. I drove in from Fort Collins to take a look at the vehicle and it appeared to be in great condition. The sales experience was great too, with very little to no pressure. The first issue is that the airbag system had a recall on it, and once they discovered this they requested I keep the vehicle there for the package to be replaced. Shortly after that they called me back and said I should take it in and have that replaced somewhere else, and sent me home with the vehicle as is - I was concerned at being pressured to do this and reluctantly agreed out of necessity. I noticed at that time the passenger side windshield was fogging up, but thought nothing about it. From there everything went south. The coolant was leaking from two locations, one being from an engine block seal. I took it into a close friend that owns a repair shop in Fort Collins, and there was $2000 worth of repairs required to get the the leaking under-control, in addition to $1000 to fix many other mechanical issues. It became obvious after that, why this particular jeep was priced so low, why the airbag system was intentionally neglected, why it was sold through auto-trader, and what had happened. Rather than deal with these guys any further, I paid for my own repairs. BUYERS BEWARE, these guys sell their LEMONS through Auto-trader!
