Buyer BEWARE!!!! This "dealership" as they like to call themselves is to be avoided if you value your hard earned money! We recently purchased a truck from them and have had nothing but mechanical problems from day one!!! When taking it to Douglas County Diesel(what an awesome company) for the emissions test, they noticed that there was a problem with the brakes. Upon further inspection, they showed us how bad the breaks actually were. This truck should have never been on the road with brakes like these! It would cost $720.00 to fix just the back brakes. Berkenkotter didnt care as that was part of "routine" maintenance not covered in the warranty we asked for as it was a USED - SOLD AS IS vehicle. A month and a half into owning this truck, the fuel injector has gone out in it. The truck also appeared to have a newer bed lining in it, that was only there to cover the large hole in the truck bed from where there was once a Goose Neck Trailer Hitch. HAVE A MECHANIC INSPECT ANY VEHICLE BEFORE BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! The vehicle is now back in the shop and now we find out that they never added the warranty to the sales contract. Cant wait to see what that estimate comes back as. We agreed to sell our other vehicle thru them on "consignment" ... what a mistake!!! Little or no effort has been made and we are on our way to pick it up and sell it ourselves now that we have two car payments. They have their money and thats all they care about - padding their pockets and not about the customer! They could care less about you once they have your money!!! Please learn from our VERY COSTLY ERROR IN TRUSTING BERKENKOTTER MOTORS and go some place else to purchase your vehicle. I would be willing to bet that the 5 star reviews I have seen here are from employees, not actual customers!

These days it is rare to find good customer service. When I come across good customer service I like to share the experience and the business. Recently I went to Berkenkotter Motors on Parker road to trade a vehicle for another one. Byron and Tod helped me to move quickly and seamlessly through the trade in of one vehicle into the purchase of another vehicle I liked! Everything went smooth taking just over an hour believe it or not. The used vehicle was not perfect but was just what I was looking for. There were a few issues with the car. Byron told me to bring the car back if problems persisted. I decided to bring the new vehicle back after a day as it showed signs of an underlying problem. Numerous attempts were made to fix the car to no avail. It was at this time I received a call from Mr Berkenkotter himself stating that the vehicle had a serious underlying problem. He told me he would do what was required to bring the car back to proper running order. As I write this review, my car is in the mechanic’s shop undergoing the promised repairs. Nobody ever tried to dodge my phone calls, rather I got a call from the owner himself to assure things were being fixed. Thank you Mr Berkenkotter and Berkenkotter Motors, I look forward to getting my car back and my next vehicle purchase through your dealership. John Stevens

The kids just left the nest and are on their own, it’s our time now to indulge in a few toys and recapture the adventure of our youth. We set out looking at campers at all the retails stores in the Front Range, the internet including Craig’s list, RV-Trader and newspaper listings. On a limited budget when you factor all the hidden costs of owning a RV we had a dollar figure in mind and were ridged. We found ours at Berkenkotter who was excellent in every way from letting us crawl through their selection un-monitored and unhindered. They were there to answer question when we had them, and if they didn’t have an immediate answer went and found it and most importantly followed up even if it took a day. We felt valued, were treated with dignity and respect throughout all phase of our search and purchase. Most importantly they earned our trust and I valued their integrity as a trusted partner in our search for a RV that suited our budget. I am thrilled with our purchasing experience not only at the beginning but also throughout the negotiation process and most of all at the closing. I even was provided a warranty beyond my expectations at no charge, granted for a limited time. I highly recommend this dealership and their staff. We earned our little piece of heaven and are excited to get our adventure underway.

Horrible customer service. Was told they were expecting a set of vehicles one week, took over a week for them to arrive. Upon visual inspection, all mentioned vehicles had dents, scratches and other very noticeable cosmetic defects. Several of those vehicles had major oil leaks and other various mechanical problems. The salesperson was disrespectful, even muttering when they first approached us. While filling out paperwork, the salesperson would run in and out of the room, and not verbally engaging us, the customers. They did not offer the same deals as their sister dealerships had, asked for a ridiculous down payment and were very non-negotiating. A vehicle that was test driven, had a disconnected odometer, so who knows how many thousands of miles were on the car than what it was quoted for. AVOID this dealership, at least the Parker location. Worst dealership experience we have EVER had. Weve all heard about car salesman, this gentlemen wasnt remotely interested in quality customer service. Save your money, save your self-respect, shop elsewhere more honorable.

Here I go again! So last month, April 2017, I got my 2005 Crown Victorian Police Interceptor STOLEN! ARGH! At first I was pretty devastated! I wasnt sure what I was going to do but, I called Kelly at Win Win Financial and let her know what was going on. She is the BEST! She told me to give it some time and see if my car got recovered and that they might be able to put me in a new vehicle. So I did just that, I waited. Low and behold my vehicle was recovered by Denver POLICE. I went to the impound thinking the worst that all my stuff was gone. Well that wasnt the case, people that commit crimes and do Drugs are so freaking stupid!! All my stuff was still in my vehicle but it was Totaled, the whole front end was gone

Awful. To start with they waited two months to pay off my trade in and I actually had the old bank calling me to repossess it. Then they also asked me to lie on the bank documents to get me into a more expensive truck then I could afford. But what is really pissing me off now (I bought the truck almost two years ago now) is that when I bought it I insisted they include a spare. I just had occasion to need it for the first time. They put o tire with a blown sidewall on a rim that didnt even fit the truck, and then hid the blown sidewall by putting it up under the truck. Absolutely awful company. Dont ever, ever, ever buy from them.

Horrible. Vehicles are not good quality and sell them at high prices. Cars they got at auction that had problems that other big dealerships would not sell. All of the cars have high miles on them too and they will still sell them over the price of the KBB. They treat you like a paycheck and not like a person. I would not reccomend buying any cars here whatsoever. You will get ripped off and stuck in a car that will break down before youve even made 2 payments on.
