In July of last year I had my car serviced at this dealer ship, the very same dealer ship I purchased my Yukon from in 2003. I requested the routine inspection, tire rotation and oil change. A few months went by and my wife noticed oil drops in our driveway. Since I was jacking the car up to check the drip I opted to also change the oil while I was under the vehicle. Unfortunately I couldnt remove the drain plug because it had been tightened way too tight during the last service at GMC. I took the car in and the mechanic and service manager both confirmed that the plug was too tight and assured me the issue had been resolved. Over the next few months we noticed some small drips and I assumed it was residual oil from the leak we had earlier. Unfortunately the drip continued and I recently took the car back to the dealer for service. Bob in service assisted me with check-in. His overall attitude was poor from the start and he continuously emphasized how busy they were and he wasnt sure if he would even be able to get my vehicle that day. Around 5:00 pm that day Bob called and basically said the leak was from the oil pan gasket and not the drain plug. I explained my prior issues and how I couldnt understand how a gasket could just go bad, especially after my drain plug experience. He basically said that there was nothing they could do and it would be $350 for a new gasket. I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to Ken and in short he basically backed Bobs explanation and offered to send pictures. At this point I was somewhat frustrated in the fact that I truly have no recourse. Pick up my car or pay the $350!! I explained to Ken that we were in the market for a new vehicle and that at this point I wouldnt be buying from this dealership or any other GMC dealership. He didnt truly seem to care about losing my business. At that point I realized that there must be sooo many familys looking to buy cars and trucks that my business doesnt even matter to him or GMS. . Ill be looking to buy a vehicle later this year and I will most likely be visiting the Ford or Chevy dealer down the street since GMC doesnt value my business.

On Saturday morning 5/2/2015 @ approximately 9:00 a.m. my 2005 Hummer H2 became disabled whiled traveling on the 118 freeway. I was on my way to the Express Lube, next door to the GMC/Buick facility from Northridge where I recently moved to June 2014. At approximately 11:00 a.m. I was furnished with a verbal estimate as to the issues and cost for the repair(s) and by 2:00 p.m. (closing time for Simi Valley GMC/Buick) my vehicle was ready for pick-up. Jeff Hightower is not only one of the most experienced PR personnel Ive met. In addition to that rare quality, he is genuinely concerned in servicing the consumers immediate and/or future service needs. In addition to having Jeff on my side, I was informed that I had a world class service technician performing the repairs to my vehicle. This was a major comfort to me as I have had a private and independently owned automotive repair shop servicing (destroying) my vehicle for the last several years. My vehicle was only serviced by the dealership where it was purchased or authorized GMC dealership. However, once Hummer was removed from the product line-up of American made vehicles, I was uncertain what to do and did not ask. Nevertheless, I am elated to know that GMC is still servicing Hummers and my vehicle (this one particularly) will never be seen by anyone other than Jeff and/or the certified, world class technician who just recently provided service. What a blessing this breakdown was! My confidence has been restored and I look forward to my vehicle being restored as well. Ive been told and I quote, that what my previous mechanic and/or his employees did to my vehicle, would be a "full time career, correcting/repairing the damages theyve done". Two thumbs up to Jeff and the service department for a job well, well done!!! I would highly recommend Simi Valley GMC/Buick for your service needs. Charles R.

My experience at your dealership was less than satisfactory, it was unacceptable. I made an appointment for an oil change and to get hard water buffed out of my Yukon. The girl told me it shouldnt take more than 2 hours. I explained I would be there with my 6 month old and made my appointment for 12. I actually got there early 11:30 and did not leave the dealership until 4:20. At around 2:30 I asked about my car. I spoke to the someone that said he would check, never got back to me because he went on lunch. Then finally spoke to someone else who said they were buffing my car. At 3:45 I asked for my car, I explained to the girl working there I needed to be leaving by this time to pick up my older daughter from school. Needless to say, my car was sent out to get buffed, and they were giving me a loaner car. Problem, I needed my two car seats out of my car. I not only picked up my daughter late but she missed her gymnastics class which was a private 84 dollar lesson. The people there apologize for miscomunations due to everyone going on lunch. Apologies dont make up for my time. This is the second terrible experience I have had. We will not buy anymore cars from this dealership, ( we bought two in two years) and I will get my services done else where. A mother shouldnt have to sit at your dealship for 4 1/2 hours with almost no commutation on where my car is or how far along the service is. Truly disappointed in the level of customer service and professionalism.

The Simi Valley Buick GMC has a wonderful family of workers yet does not know how to get someone out of a bad car deal. I am one of them who purchased a 2002 GMC Yukon w/ 170,000 +miles from them and I have had problems ever since I took it home. They have fixed the problems with the car over and over again (for free) and it just keeps getting worse. I have had the car for 5 months now and its been in their shop 8 times. I have asked them to please get me into another car or SUV and they have tried by running my credit over and over again with various banks but with no money down of course they all are going to turn me down! I have no more money to put down.. I am so sad and disappointed that I have given up my previous reliable vehicle and $2000 dollars to be in debt with this clunker. They have been very courteous to me and offered me a vehicle while they fixed mine..yet they have not solved my issues. I am stuck with a vehicle that is probably not going to last the rest of this year..how am I supposed to make payments toward the finance company and insurance payments and pay towards mechanical issues while taking care of 3 children and going to school? The only reason why I said the service poor to fair was because I had to keep bringing it back with the same issue 4x in a row before it was really taken care of.

If you come here ask for Ron!!! I had been searching and searching and searching for a Dodge Dart, I came across this one at Simi Valley Buick GMC. I inquired right away about this vehicle and was contacted immediately by Ron. From day one he was the most helpful and best sales man I have ever dealt with. He got me approved immediately with the cash I had in hand and was able to hold my check for the rest of my down payment. Not only was this awesome dealership able to do this for me but they got my payments exactly what I wanted. I told the salesman I would be down next weekend because it was a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house, well they offered to bring the car to my house and close the deal at my house! Ron arrived a day later with the car I had been searching for and wanting!!! Took it on a test drive around my town and closed the deal at my kitchen table!!! This dealership is awesome, Ron was great and I would totally recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy a car! The next car I buy I am definitely going to contact them again! I wish I could give more stars! Thanks so much to Ron and the awesome staff at Simi Valley Buick GMC .... You guys went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations.
