DOES NOT DESERVE ANY STARS!! On Saturday, June 6, at roughly 12:45pm, my family and I visited the Dollar Tree store in International Falls, MN. I had my son in a stroller and the stroller was positioned in the middle of the aisle. While talking to my husband for a brief moment, my son reached on the shelf and grabbed a bottle. He made a "ack" noise like he had something gross in his mouth and handed the bottle to me. It was fuel injector cleaner. It was open. I smelled the fluid and smelled me sons mouth and shirt, which both smelled like the fluid. He is only 2 and special needs and cannot open things like that on his own. I went up front and asked for a manager. A gal named Brittany said she was the manager. I informed her of what happened. Her response was "well how much is gone from the bottle." I told her that I didnt know because I didnt know how much was in the bottle to begin with. She took the bottle and disappeared. I walked back to my husband to grab the phone to call poison control since the bottle clearly had skull symbols indicating poison. My husband stayed in the store for roughly 15 minutes waiting for the Manager to come back and talk to him about what had happened but Brittany the manager just came back up, avoided my husband and went about her normal business as if nothing had happened. Eventually my husband decided to check out and see how our son was doing since I had taken him outside while I was on the phone. After leaving the store, I was asked by professionals what brand it was. We had no idea because the manager took the bottle from us right away and disappeared with it. My husband and I went back to take a picture of the bottle so that we could answer all questions to best help our son. When returning to the store, we informed the clerks what had happened and that we needed to take a picture of the bottle. They never said a word, they simply pulled the open bottle from behind a counter and handed it to us. Not once did the manager or any employee apologize to us for the OPEN bottle of POISON, not to mention the fact that it was near the bottom of the shelf--in a childs reach. Not once did any employee ask if our son was okay! Another employee "Dominque" laughed and snickered as we explained that our son drank some. The manager also failed to file an incident report or present us with an MSDS. The manager really did nothing but take the bottle and disappear. My son has been ill since ingesting the liquid...and now we have to wake him up every couple hours all night long to make sure he is able to be awoken, which disturbs his routine since he is a special needs child with Autism. We also have to have him sleep near us tonight because if he develops a cough, we have been informed that it is a sign it went into his lungs and could be life threatening. I am very appalled that this occurred. A poison should never be kept where a child can reach it. Additionally, your employees should make sure that poisons are properly sealed and not sitting on a shelf open. I am further more appalled by the way the manager and employees utterly failed to deal with the situation appropriately and professionally. The employees showed absolutely no care or concern whatsoever.

Same old things there nearly every time. But the prices are cheap and the selection is nice. The staff has usually always been nice since I remember. The food there isnt a wide variety and in the makeup section their is only concealer or foundation in darker tones, which is great for some, but sadly not all. They do however have a large variety of holiday/ occasion cards and party items. along with right now an entire section for back to school items which are handy to those who cant afford hundreds of dollars at kmart/Walmart.
