I visited the store for the first time today, a friend of mine recommended this place, they have great deals he said, the battery of my Toyota remote key was dead and I needed a new one, I was told that it was against the company policy to open the key and I must open it myself which I didnt know how to,my issue is that the sales rep(she ) was very dismissive, didnt offer any sort of guidance or what so ever, didnt seem to even care that much, after I driVing 15 minutes and waiting 10 minutes for an available rep, all she said was "next in line" and arrogantly. I finally figured out how to open the key and was helped by Freddie, same treatment, very dismissive also, no eye contact, not very friendly, an As***** to say the least. I mean you dont have a problem dealing with As****s while givin your business, this place is for you. Never again.

Yesterday my antique six volt cars battery bit the dust. I purchased the battery this past April from NAPA in Gaithersburg and it going bad was not the fault of NAPA it was just a new bad battery. Now the good from the bad. Freddy who is the Salesman I originally purchased the battery from just happened to be there and took immediate action, a replacement battery was not in stock but he did find one in the Rockville NAPA warehouse, he called the warehouse and had the battery ready for me to pickup. Freddy is a real professional and offered real quality customer service. NAPA will always have me for a customer. And if you visit the Gaithersburg store say Hi to Freddy from me!

I had the unfortunate luck of having to go here to pick up a part I needed. When I arrived there were 2 people working behind the counter that did not acknowledge myself or another customer that was waiting. I asked if someone could help us and Freddy (black employee, not the manager) responded very rudely that he was busy and it was not his problem that we were waiting. I was shocked that this establishment allows people like that to work here. After I was finally helped by someone else he tried to justify his behavior by stating hes understaffed, busy etc. Needlessto say that I wont ever go back there. Stay away and go to another parts store.

Bought a battery from them awhile ago, it died a short time later. Called in to check on warranty replacement (battery has 24 full replacement warranty). They said no receipt no warranty and wouldnt look me up in the system to see how long ago it was purchased. Not the most efficient place. Will purchase my replacement elsewhere and make sure my wife keeps the receipt. Live and learn. This is the second battery bought from NAPA that died prematurely, should have learned last time. My mistake for going back and for not keeping receipt handy.

After getting there at 8am (they opened at 7:30am) my front pair of struts arrived at the store at 11am in the morning the same day. Other places could only get them two, three, and four days later at the end of the day. The price was lower too and was the same part I was looking for elsewhere. I ended up saving $120.00 off a pair of KYB struts compared to AutoZone and Advance Auto. Keep up the good work NAPA. Im going back tomorrow to get the rear pair of matching struts!!!!!

Please fire everybody there, make sure Freddie leaves first, there are a lot of folks out there looking for jobs, there is no way these guys have the job, no way treating customer that way and you keep your job???everybody has to go, I dont who owns the store but please you are loosing a lot of money everyday, get rid of your staff, they are trash..

As I DIY car guy, Napa Gburg has been a local go-to for me for years. More often than not, they have the part I am looking for. Sometimes they keep you waiting for service (like most places these days they are often short-staffed). But it is worth the wait. I recommend the store!

have dealt with them on a daily basis for 28 years. many changes have been made recently. they have gone from my 1st call to my last call when I need parts. seems like they are on the edge of closing. all the knowledgeable employees have left. go figure

Theyre short staffed so it gets a little hectic, but this staff is the most knowledgeable crew in Montgomery County, they know car parts, and theyll try their best to sell you high quality parts at an affordable price.

Bad enough they put me on hold for over 5 min - had to listed to INCESSANT LOUD commercials with no breaks. BAD, really BAD marketing. In the future, NAPA will be the LAST parts store I would call.

Employees could have been more knowledgeable about autos... Manager is the person that can answer many questions... sometimes you have to wait a while before you can be served...

These guys are friendly and if they cant produce your request on the spot, they will order for you and get it fast. Prices are very reasonable too.
