To all of those who live in Stockton and shops at the Lion Supermarket on El Dorado/ Hammer Lane, BE CAREFUL! All the sneaky cashiers cheat during the transactions on the register. They mostly target old people and people who purchase many items. They have been doing this for many years. The first few times, they only cheated a couple bucks and we thought it was just mistakes and let them slide. Now its becoming a problem that we cant ignore. THIS IS DONE PURPOSEFULLY! For instance, the cashier, named Ramsey, labeled additional items onto our receipt for such as "grocery" for $2.99 when we have only bought groceries that are not clearly $2.99. Additionally, my mom requested to pull money from her card and Ramsey "purposefully" miscounted the amount in order to give us less. My mom of course recounted the money in her face and Ramsey cheated us $20. Once my grandma bought a 100 lb. bag of rice and the workers "purposefully" carried the 50 lb. bag into her car. We know that people go there because the items and groceries are cheaper than some American places but it would be better if we all do not shop there anymore. If not, in order to prevent things like this from happening, calculate your items before your purchase and tell it to their face right there and then when they do cheat or else they wont believe you!!

They sell fake plastic whole chicken for $6.99. I brought it home and boiled it for about an hour. Then checked the chicken and noticed that the skin was tough and felt like plastic. It doesnt feel anything like a real chicken. I burned the chicken skin with a lighter and it smell like burnt plastic. I threw the chicken away right after. Please be ware and dont feed your family Lion Market chicken.
