This event happened over five years ago so things may have changed. I bought my son a mountain bike here, there were issues with the brakes. When I brought it in Old Town advised I would need a new rim and new brakes, minimum of at least $100 parts, labor not factored in. I went to Class Cycle, they pointed out that the bike had been assembled incorrectly and that the brake cables needed to be crossed over. I did this and the bike was fine. I will not use Old Town for ANY bicycle needs.
