Wow....what a great find! Was in the Whizins Center for lunch and happened to see the Flying Owl upstairs. I had no idea what to expect but I am so glad I walked in to this amazing shop. They have amazing cards and gifts from small and local suppliers. If youre tired of the same old Hallmark cards from Rite-Aid and CVS...you will love this place. I found a great selection of funny and snarky cards for many different occasions. I was just thinking the other day that there are no more funny cards out there for birthdays, and there were literally dozens of crazy-funny cards here. There were also great little books, funny cocktail favors , and lots of other wonderful gifts. I had so much fun browsing through all the unique items. To top it off, the store owner couldnt have been more lovely and you can tell she takes great pride in her business. The Flying Owl is just what this part of LA needs...a small, locally owned store that offers great items that cant be found anywhere else. If youre in the Agoura, or the Conejo Valley area, go check this place out.
