I went there a few times over the last couple months. The cashiers are always friendly and the store is clean, but the manager that was there has a chip on her shoulder. The first time I went was around Christmas. An older gentleman asked if there were any more of a certain card, he had eight and needed nine. The manager ripped the cards from his hands and started counting them aloud, assuming he had miscounted. She spoke to him like he was a child and the gentleman was visibly angry for being treated that way. She offered no apology and just a vague "If we have more theyll be over there." The second time the same manager was berating the cashier for standing at the til. Apparently theyre expected to clean the store if nobody is immediately in front of their register. There were 6-8 people in the store and most had full carts and were heading for the register. So the cashier was being scolded for staying where she would be needed while the manager went outside to smoke and do nothing. The third time, it was around 8:00pm and a line of over seven people were at the only open register. The cashier had the store phone and was calling for the manager, but nobody answered. When I got outside with my items I saw that same manager looking at another store phone while it rang as she lit another cigarette. I pointed out that the cashier needed help and she just looked away and pretended not to hear me. I love the prices in the store, but I dont go anymore because of the way that manager treats people. The rest of the staff is great, but this one manager ruins the entire place.
