Can not recommend buying any appliances here? Bought an LG refrigerator stainless steel, plus an extended warranty. In less than two years, there is a rust spot under the opening for the ice maker. My ice maker did not work consistently from day one. When you call the extended warranty people, they deny any coverage. They say the rusting front of the refrigerator is a cosmetic issue. Can you imagine paying extra for stainless steel appliances and getting that answer from your extended warranty department. They told me it was my fault the ice maker was not working, because it was not used enough! Do not buy LG! Junk! Do not buy the extended warranties. They are not worth the paper they are written on. My new dishwasher, also stainless steel, also had issues. The inside trays rusted and would not slide out. The warranty people say that is the dishwasher turns on, nothing else is covered. LG must be getting their steel from China. Total junk! I have been a long time customer at Home Depot. They could not care less. Be smarter than I and RUN elsewhere. Buy online. Could not do worse.

So we are in the process for getting new doors for our house. The came a measured everything is all good. We had picked the doors out with Ron. Our doors are very oddly shaped and we had been back and forth a couple times. Ron called last night wondering when we were coming in to order the doors. Which was great. I went in this afternoon had to pick a few other items up and get some wood cut to fix a few things around the house. I said high to Ron he said he had someone infront of me. OK no problems. I come back after getting my shopping done he was still busy. I said I forgot some glue Ill be right back. Walked down to aisle two and back in like 2-3 minutes tops. The guy clocked out and went home!!!!! You got to be kidding me!!!!!!!! Was very pleased with their help until this point. Went to talk with a manager basically got thats not like Ron speech. She someone else could help. I refused. Have a very bad taste after that. I know someone else could have helped but does not defeat the purpose of an employee clocking out while waiting for their help to make a purchase at your store.

04/09/16: we came in to purchase a refrigerator around 7:15 pm. No one was in the appliance section to assist us. We asked an employee to assist us and he gladly paged an appliance associate to the area. No one came for over 10 minutes. I asked another employee who did not even acknowledge I was speaking to him. He said "Ill page someone when I get a chance." I went to ask for a manager and he was just as rude. I asked "are you a manager?" His response: "what do you need?" I told him I was trying to buy a refrigerator. He said well no one told me! Ill go over when I get a chance. What kind of service is that?? Im not sure why the service is so poor here. I can go to the Home Depot on 124th and capital and not experience this sort of service. Do they think because theyre serving a lower income, minority demographic that customer service doesnt matter? As far as Im concerned, I will be going to Sears outlet for my appliances. Ive never had an issue there. I dont know why I expected good service here.

Ive been using this home depot for the better part of 20 years, and 9times out of 10 they have what I need in stock and at a reasonable price. And what they dont have I can usually find on their site and have it shipped to the store for free. This particular home Depot has a tool rental department, which I have used multiple times over the years. They have a good selection of tools and machines for reasonable rates. Have always had a good experience with the employees, but as the case with most home depots, it can be hard to track someone down who is working in the particular department you need help in. As with most home depots I wouldnt recommend buying lumber or sheet goods. Go to a local lumber yard. You can get better wood for a better price, without having to pick through a bunch of banana boards and knotty wood.

Ive been trying for a month to set up a community partnership with location 4913 to no avail. Amber, the Associate Support Department Supervisor told me several weeks ago that the person who schedules the Kids Workshop Clinics was on vacation. Her return date was Monday, October 6, 2014. I was assured by Amber that I would hear from someone from the Home Depot regarding scheduling a Kids Workshop Clinic at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. K-8 School when this person returned from vacation. It was my intention to have the Kids Workshop Clinic set up for the month of November. Im not sure if this will be possible now. Community relationships are very important to the school community. Im disappointed that I was not able to foster one with The Home Depot that is 5 minutes away from Dr. King, Jr. School.

Been coming here for 7 years and it has been a pretty good experience overall, every once in a while they have phenomenal blowout prices on discontinued items, for lumber I pick around and find the good stuff same as all big box home centers. Paint department is quite good, matching paints to perfection although they are sometimes pushy on the new formulations with primer. Also fantastic garden department, wide selection with hordes of happy plant hunters in the spring.. much better prices than garden centers and better quality than Men...ds. Oh yeah and they have a plentiful supply of lumber carts stacked ready to go outside of the left hand entrance. That makes me happy. Have not had any car tool theft while here, but I hide my tools and lock the doors.

I wish I could give it one star. Home Depots are usually at least OK, I rented a drain snake and the person there did not give me directions on how to use it. I have used them before but this time it would not come out. I brought it back and saw the directions had printed out and were on the desk. I said you should give those to people when they rent things and she threw it away and said they always do. I handed her everything I had received and because there were 3 more people waiting in line just paid for it out of consideration for them WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE SEEN.

Ive been to this Home Depot multiple times and every time I tell myself not to go back. The employees are rude, and selection is poor. Once, I ordered some storage bins online for store pick up. They notified me by email that my order was ready, but when I got to the store the bins didnt have lids. They couldnt find the lids anywhere even though they came with the bins. They asked me if I wanted to wait for the lids but by then I had completely lost faith in their ability to fill an order. I got a refund and will take my business somewhere else.
