Not a comfortable place to shop. The last time I was there (March 2017), my boyfriend and I were browsing the shop. I wanted to take my time and look at some nail products and hair and skin products--nothing in particular, I just wanted some new products to try. There were two employees working there, and between the two of them, for the 10 or 15 minutes I was there, I probably was asked four or five times if I needed help. (My boyfriend who was in a different aisle was also asked a few times, he said.) Ive worked in retail before, so I know thats a tactic used when an employee thinks a customer is shoplifting. The thing is, I know Ive been treated this way (i.e. employees coming to stock where Im shopping, being asked every 4 minutes if I need help, etc.) at this location before. I dont know if its a company policy or a store policy, or if maybe the employees are trying to get commission on up-selling me (because one time, I kept telling and employee there I didnt need help, but she proceeded to "help" me and talk me out of the products I was going to buy and talk me into buying different ones that I ended up not liking). Or, I dont know if that just happens to be my luck and if they think Im a shoplifter! Either way, Ive purchased plenty of products there and I do not like feeling uncomfortable or pressured. The last time I was there, I wanted to take my time and look at a lot of things, but I ended up making a rushed purchase (that ended up being over $60...for three China Glazes, a buffer, a file, one pack of nail stickers, and a pencil sharpener...I think the cashier forgot to give me the BOGO discount they advertised for China Glaze, but I didnt want to interact with them any longer than needed). The employees just seemed so aggressive, and I felt nervous and uncomfortable browsing because I felt like I was being treated like a shoplifter, and I was nervous and feeling pressured that they were just going to try to sell me things I didnt want. I hate when employees do that. This is turning out to be a long review, but like most people, I only bother to review things when I have a really good experience or really bad one. I feel like Ive had enough bad experiences here to conclude that I hate this place. I gave it two stars instead of one because I will say that they do have a wide variety of products and most of them are inexpensive--that said, they also have a monopoly on beauty supplies in Milwaukee, because most other cosmetic stores, etc., dont sell the types of products they do. So I will probably continue to shop here every now and again...but if you have a car and can go somewhere else, you should.

This place sucks. The owner is a old scary lady and jeopardizes with her voice. Their product recommendation is always horrible and I had to return to the store (wasting my gas) to return the products. Horrid experiences every time. The receipt would tell you Return within 60 days of date of purchase but everytime, I am not joking everytime, she refuses to return my money with some reasons. THEN DONT MENTION IN THE RECEIPT RETURN WITHIN 60 DAYS , BETTER TO WORD APPROPRIATELY AS RETURNS ON EXCEPTIONS AND CONDITIONS. Recently, went to return a shampoo, it was really bad one and make me to lose my hair, she refused to return because it was a little used. What the crap! I had to bash words in her face I would not return again and turned back. I am not returning here again and would not recommend to other friends too.....SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!

The older lady that runs the place was entirely off-putting. When I came in and was browsing a section (comparing colors, etc) she came over and started stocking things, standing less than an inch away from me as if expecting me to try and pick-pocket some things. Besides that, her whole demeanor made me not want to come back-- no eye contact, no smile, no real interest in me even being there. Just sort of a "get what you need and go" feel to the place. Definitely not a comfortable environment.

I dunno why everyones getting mad at the old lady whos the owner. Shes quite nice actually. Now, she really doesnt give good advice on products. If you have questions, Id ask the other girls there. But they are all really nice. The products are good too.
