I was treated with EXTREMELY POOR service. I went to Office Max with my uncle to purchase notebooks for my junior year in high school. As is turns out I was not allowed to buy notebooks, as I was a junior, under 18, and my uncle bought 3 notebooks (limit per household) for his son. The manager and assistant did not allow me to purchase notebooks, which are items that are required for school. The advertisement did not specify an age limit and I also have never been refused the eligibility to purchase school supplies as a minor. The manager also told me I have to spend a minimum of $5 to get the deal listed in the ad, when it clearly does not say that for the notebook, as it does for some other school supplies. I have never felt more discriminated by age when trying to purchase an item, which I cannot go without. Does Office Max not want me to study? Do not try to talk to the manager. It seems as if he made up rules, which he cannot back in writing. Bottom line...do not shop at Ofiice Max.

I have been coming to Milwaukee for the past three summers for school (in my third now), and every time I try to use this store, I have had terrible experiences. Do NOT try to send anything to print through the internet. When I showed up to get it, they said they didnt offer that service (even though I sent it to the store using online printing ordering section of the website and used their store id, AND got a confirmation email??????) and then literally 3 months later, after I had left Milwaukee, I got an email saying my print job was done. Yes. They did charge me. And that was one heck of a nightmare. There is always some sort of service not being offered because something is "broken" and they cant answer many questions. Do not go to this store. It is the closet one to were I live in Bay View while I am here, and I make ever effort to go anywhere else BUT this store.

On Friday 9/18/15 I brought about 130 pre-printed sheets of cardstock to be cut. A staff person named Amber was friendly and helped me place my order efficiently. I got a call back, and was able to pick up my order the next day from another staff member (sorry, I didnt catch his name) who actually did the job that morning, and it was done right, he did a great job. Overall it was a good experience. This location has an incredible selection of supplies, as I noticed, browsing through the store after placing my order. Another staff member offered to help me find something, and I declined, and they left me alone after that, which demonstrates that they are both helpful and unintrusive. Im glad to have this store so conveniently located to my home.

I brought my computer in to have it tuned up and remove a virus, I paid enough and now my screen is all together different and I am having a hard time adjusting to the new icons. The first guy was very nice, his name was Thomas but when I went back to pick it up, I dont know his name but it was on a Sunday morning, I thought he was very rude, he said here it is and didnt explain what they all did and when I did ask a question he made me feel stupid for asking it. Also I carried the tower out myself and it was heavy, he didnt even ask to if I needed help getting it in the car, they sure need to have a class in customer relations at Office Max, I would never go there again.

Very poor customer care at a store, but even worse thought phone, chat or email. I ordered a graphic card that was a special order, and I never received it. They just canceled my order on me. Then they reorder the stuff, and canceled again. Now they asking me if I want reorder again? Are you kidding me? Forget about calling them unless you have unlimited amount of time on hand. Chat - useless, email - the same. Just horrible, horrible treatment. I will never sop at any office depot again.

Pint service options shut down based on lack of employee knowledge to use equipment. The only redeeming factor, was the store manager offered to call another location - which was too busy to complete my job same day. What a waste of 45min, my time to go there and wait around to get helped only to be sent else ware. To think, I was going to just go to the other location in the first place. Next time I just will.

Note this transaction happened July 1, 2015. Readily received detailed poster printing information, over the phone before I went to the store. When I arrived the printing area was busy, but kudos to MITCH who multi-tasked like no other, and kept the line moving. No problems ripping a large file (pdf) with smooth coverage (not banded), accurate color and crisp vectors. Wont hesitate to use their services again.

I bought a laptop there the other day and had a pretty good experience. The sales women was knowledgeable and willing to explain the differences between two products. I knew what I was talking about but was testing her knowledge of the product and she was right on. The only bad thing was that they are really pushy when it comes to set up and warranty services. Other than that it was a clean and friendly store.

I was by the copy/fax machine and the girl there was so rude . Everytime i asked her a question it was like she was bothered .then I went to pay the line in the fron was full she took care of me but the two behind me she couldnt check them out, it was too much work for her . Then a man came and asked a questioned and she was so rude. Some people need customer assistance classes.

Eveyone one here is exceptional, great customer service. I go to shop at this location for my business and I love working with a gentleman named Richard. Great guy, just as well as their management team, Including their store manager Brandon and Thomas. Best location in the area, fair prices. Gotta work on cleanliness though.

Working with Jesse was like pulling teeth. Besides ignoring us the first 10 min we were there, he talked to us like we were idiots and like he didnt have time to help even though the store was basically empty. Good luck at the brick and mortar stores with attitudes like that. That order went to Amazon.

Pros: The male and female printing staff are very HELPFUL! Had great costumer service from Amber, Derrick, and the rest of the printing staff. Cons: Needs better management and stock.
