Horrible service, bad attitude. I came here to talk to the guys about getting my tattoo modified and adding onto it. First, lets get this straight. This is a place for the milwaukee hobo-hipster type crowd. If youre not a 20 year old hipster, Id suggest checking out some other spots first. Because I dont fit this profile (im 27 but more of a rocker/biker type), I felt like I was met with this "I dont want to do your work because its not our style" kind of attitude from all of the guys there. I even showed up again to let them know of my new idea, taking theirs into consideration after chatting with them the first time, and only one guy would talk to me and just had the worst attitude. I felt horribly unwelcome. My advice - if youre a 20 year old hipster - theyll probably do good work for you. If not, stay away b/c their attitude is horrible and god knows what kind of job theyll do on you if their heart isnt into their work. Btw - I went to another shop that again wasnt my style to get their thoughts and was received with a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere who went above and beyond what Atomic did (who literally told me they couldnt even work with me). The other shop came up with ideas all day long and I even agreed with one of their ideas for what I wanted... Bummer I dont feel like plugging them b/c itll ruin the integrity of my review here...

I cant recommend this place enough. For the past three years me and my best friend have been getting piercings to celebrate our birthdays. After going to 3 different shops in the Milwaukee area, this is the only one that exceeded our expectations in every way. Body ritual poorly pierced my tragus, not only did I lose the $40 it cost but my piercing ended up migrating out and left my ear scarred. Avant Guard* in West Allis pierced the wrong place in my ear (daith vs rook). Needless to say I was a bit aprehensive trying yet another shop to get my septum pierced. As soon as I walked in, I knew I had nothing to worry about. The shop is obviously very clean and well kept. The staff was all friendly and very welcoming. The piercer was very patient and kind in answering my questions and guiding my friends and me through the process. He was very expiericed and professional and made us as cofortable as possible. I will never go to another shop in Milwaukee for future piercings, I cant wait to go back to have my tragus repierced by someone who is actually professional and skilled. The outside of the building may not impress, but the inside and those who work there definitely will.

Yesterday my mom and I came to atomic tattoo to get me a simple nose piercing but because I didnt have my ID (just turned 18). They told me I could return the next day with a school/work ID and birth certificate so I could get the piercing done. The guys who worked there was very kind and understanding. Now today we returned there with everything they asked for and sat patiently until they called me up. A girl with purple hair called abother person up and sat her down before us (mind you she came in after us). So we went to her and let her know that I was supposed to be getting a piercing I told her that we have everything that was asked for yesterday but she was very VERY rude to me and my mother. She wouldnt listen to us and wouldnt accept anything we had. So we left and kept 40 bucks in our pockets I guess. My sister who kinda stayed back after we left said that she was confronted by her higher ups and let her know that she was wrong and what we had was legit. *sigh* I was really looking foward to get my first piercing there but after today I will not be going back. P.S the guys there were really sweet but the purple hair girl was not.

DO NOT!!!!! GO TO THIS SHOP!!!!!!! I had my nipples pierced here in October. The piercer completely botched my piercings. They were done very deep into my areola, NOT through my nipple. This was extremely painful and caused the barbells to become embedded inside my nipples a few days later. I had to have them removed and wait 2 months to have them redone. After having them removed I developed an infection because of the embedding and had to miss several days of work because I could not get out of bed. Lost wages, removal fees, medical bills and now I have to pay AGAIN to get them re-pierced by someone who actually knows what theyre doing. So far these nipple piercings have cost over $250 and over a week of intense pain, not to mention the scarring. I called the shop and they took down my email and said they would send me a message but I never heard from them. I also sent them a message on their facebook page and again, no response. When I called to complain I was told that it was "my fault" for getting the piercings, even though they were done incorrectly. I wish there was a 0 stars button.

First time I went there I got a nautical star on my ankle. I was told that I did not need an appointment as there would be space open. When I showed up to get it done the artist said it would be another 3 hours till he was ready for me. When I came back for the tattoo the artist was very friendly and said I would get my touch up for free. When the tattoo was completely healed I returned only to find the artist had left the studio and Id have to pay the shop minimum or get a new tattoo to get it touched up for free. I went back to get a new one and was shocked to see that the artists werent there when I arrived at 1230 when the shop opens at 12. I left the shop to come back later. When I called them back I was told all of the artists were booked and rudely told to try the other shop. I do not recommend this place for anyone that wants good service

I have been to atomic twice already, once to get my tongue peiced a second time and to get a unicorn tattoo on my arm. I came back to get the background done around my unicorn, but when I told them wat I wanted received alot of attituded. There were giggles and stares while one guy discribed wat I wanted. A few artists said no, but one guy was willing to do it. We set up a time for the following evening. He told me if something came up he would call me atleast an hour in advance. The next day as im walking in for my appt. I got a text saying hell have to do it another time. I wouldnt have been mad if I hadnt walked 30 mins to get there. The other artists tried to fit me in but couldnt. They said they were sorry, but I was shocked bout all of it. Then I find out he is at indian summer, thats why he canceled 10mins before the appt. time.
