I will be back next time I need running shoes. This place is great. The salesperson who assisted me tonight was extremely helpful. I mustve tried on thirteen+ different pairs, and after each pair hed listen to my likes/dislikes and answer my questions. Id take a pair for a quick run up and down the block, and come back to two or three additional pairs to try on based on the previous conversation. I didnt feel rushed at all, despite leaving fifteen minutes after closing. I didnt feel like he would be at a loss if I didnt find a pair tonight, but their selection was so big I cant imagine not finding what I needed. Also, I got home and looked for the same shoes online... Movin Shoes was $40 cheaper. My only criticism - They only sell black and white laces separately, and I needed pink.

The attendant was super helpful! He looked at my boyfriends gait & identified his foot needs & brought out great options for running shoes. I was also interested in insoles, but he was very honest about their options not meeting my needs for thin cushioning in dress shoes, and made some good suggestions on where to find the right thing. He gave us really good advice on site-shopping & found the right pair for my man. He also gave us each a pair of free socks for being first-timers (even though I didnt buy anything!) and told my boyfriend to put em to the test, run inside & out & if he decided against them, feel free to bring em back in a week with wear & theyd give a full refund. Very excellent and honest service.

I was recommended this store by an avid runner friend after asking them about my leg pains from running. True to her word, I found a staff willing and able to help tell exactly what my gait was (in my case, that I overpronated) and selecting a variety of shoes that compensated for the problem in all sorts of price ranges (and I didnt feel pressured to choose the most expensive ones, they seemed to genuinely care that I had what I needed). After choosing and selecting a pair, I found that my shin splints and ankle pains had gone away, so they obviously werent just selling whatever they felt like.

Best place ever! Not only did they spend a bunch of time with me and customize shoes for me, but they did it when they were almost closed. They are a great bunch of people who really just want you to get the best running gear available. They are also an independent small business! On top of that, they gave me a 12% discount just because they wanted me to have the shoe I wanted that was out of my price range. It ended up being cheaper than online. I cannot recommend this place enough, please if you are looking for running gear, support this local business, you wont be disappointed.

I had just purchased a pair of running shoes from REI, but before I ran in them, a friend of mine suggested I go to Movin Shoes because of its selection of shoes and its employees expertise. I went, and after talking with an associate for a while and trying on a number of shoes, I found a more comfortable pair of shoes for about the same price. The associate was knowledgeable of the products as well as foot mechanics. Good prices, too.

This is a serious shoe store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The prices cant be beat, even on line, especially if you get their 12% off customer card. Most of their staff are experienced collegiate or professional runners and REALLY know their stuff. Dont be intimidated though. There are out to help everyone, from novices on up! LOVE this place!

I have bought shoes from them for 3 years now and never had a bad pair until my most recent pair (great shoe, minor defect). HOWEVER, I took them in today after one wearing them for about 3 months and a hole ripped into the side out of nowhere, and Elliot hooked me up with a brand new pair! Great selection, awesome customer service, highly recommended!

I was in Movin Shoes two times recently to purchase a new pair of running shoes. Service and expertise was both times excellent. I never felt rushed or pushed to buy a shoe. I feel that I made the best purchase for me and I know if I have trouble with my shoes I can go back with them. I dont look like a runner either and noone blinked and eye at me

This is a great place thats been a fixture for a while. Ive been very happy with the staff every time Ive shopped here and the selection is fairly good. They will order anything they dont have in stock. Theres no bullshit sales pitch, they will give you candid advice and never try to make you think something matters more than it does to sell it.

I kinda assumed a place like this was over-rated. But I wasnt happy with the shoes i kept trying on while i was shopping around. Eddie was AMAZING helped me find the perfect shoe, super friendly, worth the stop. We spend our lives on our feet and our shoes should be PERFECT and this is the place to go!!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who were happy to order in a variety of shoes for me to try. Ive bought from them before and will continue to do so. One knock is that their stock for larger feet sizes (Im a 13) is really hit or miss but thats not so unusual. Great place.

They werent as thorough as I expected, but they helped me pick a pair of shoes and ordered a different pair for me to come back and try. Their buy and try policy is pretty good, so thats cool (you get two weeks to actually use them and see if they are right).

After going to running shoes stores all around the country Movin Shoes is still my favorite. I have been living in Florida for 4 years and every time I come back to Wisconsin I stop at Movin Shoes. They have great service, variety and prices.

Friendly staff and good, one-on-one service to help you get what you need. I definitely recommend it more so for committed athletes or those who dont mind spending a lot on a pair of shoes as their prices are quite high.
