My granddaughter needed figure skates just for "fun" ice skating. She is twelve but a ladies 6 and will outgrow these by next year. Her younger sister will wear them as well in a couple of years. I could not find skates any where in town so called Park and Rec in La Crosse. They suggested Play It Again. Dennis was very knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased skates that were $200 for $30 and he sharpened them as well. The quality of these skates far surpasses what I would buy online at e.g. Target. Her ankles will be well supported and so will her sisters! Great experience and quality merchandise. Scuffs dont matter, function over fashion does! Deb Richardson

What an outstanding buying experience from the staff at Play it Again. I was looking for a particular piece of equipment and they didnt have it. But they made a recommendation for another model that was coming to the store. When it arrived, they called me to let me know and I came down to see it. They were knowledgeable and very helpful.

When I need anything sports or exercise related my first stop is at Play It Again Sports. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they always have something I can use. If its new equipment and they dont have it they can often order it and theyre stock of used equipment provides great options.

Okay. So heres my experience. They have a sign that says they are buying snowboards, so I brought mine in. Well, they dont follow their signs and the guy was a complete douche about it.

Overall its a great place to go and grab some used "cheap" sports gear. However, I bought two pairs of cleats that didnt even last one full game. Bottoms fell off on both pairs.

Nice locally owned store. If the sport is in season there is a good chance you will find what you need here. They sell used and new equipment.
