This place definitely has a lot of great things. Employees however are rude and cannot be inconvenienced with a question. When asked where the glue is out of three employees standing around two ignore me completely and the other says "I dunno, maybe the paint department?" When asked where the department is she said "that way" instead of actually helping a customer find what theyre looking for. Two stars only because I eventually found what I was looking for. Otherwise Id give it 1 for the service.

I went in after a disastrous visit to Home Depot. Unlike Home Depot, Menards seems to hire people that know what they are talking about. I came in for Plumbing. The guys were busy so I was waiting. Chris walked by and asked if I needed help. He said he no longer worked in the department but helped me anyways and spent some time talking to me about my project regardless. He was a class act gentleman. Ill never shop at Home Depot again, but will always come back to Menards over this experience.

I was followed around the store on two separate occasions by the same employee (loss prevention?) but she was so blatantly obvious about it and it angered me I was being monitored like I was going to shoplifting or something. After the first time I confronted the manager and he said he would have a talk with the woman. The second time it happened Id had enough. I took all my stuff I was going to purchase up to the manager and told him that I would be shopping elsewhere from then on.

The employees were very helpfull and courteous. The selection is a step up from Home Depot the prices are great. I travel 90 minutes one way to go there all the time as there has yet to be a place that affords the same level of comfort and earned respect that Menards had achieved

Decent prices, large selection. Staff is terrible, will pointedly avoid you, one practically has to hunt them down for service. Short and unfriendly interactions and unhelpful answers. Definitely will be looking elsewhere for hardware needs.

I was returning some tile. I went to get a cart to put it in, a young man that worked there came rushing out to help me. Awesome service, no problem with the return.

Menards BIG card = 25% interest. Suck you in with no interest for a year than jack you up to 25%. One day late on your payment? $35.00 extra. Should be illegal.

Good service reasonable prices and easy access to get in and out. Ive gone here for several projects, and have had good luck with advice from the employees.
