A bit on the expensive side, they are a very clothing oriented outdoors store, not focused on gear at all. Pretty good selection of top brands, but a lot of brands I like are missing as well, which can be expected with the limited retail space they have. Wait for sales and you can find a good deal. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Awesome, friendly staff. Helped me find winter jackets for the whole family along with boots and other winter misc. We just moved up here from the south, so I needed help and got it. Part of the reason I went crazy shopping was they had an awesome pre-season sale which is the opposite of most retailers. They earned my business.

I really liked how friendly the staff were. I bought a new pair of hiking boots for my daughter. The staff there were very helpful and gave their personal experiences with the brands as well. That helped me pick the right one my daughter needed.

When I asked for gore-tex jeans (like the ones the Olympic snowboarders wore) they laughed at my face. They should just go back to Chicago where they are from.

The store is populated with knowledge able outdoorsmen and women. They don't push any specific brand and they are community oriented.
