I have always tried to shop at Kmart in Tears Valley I was hoping if I could help to keep a store like that in the valley until todayou around 11am. The most rude lady ever was working the service desk. I didnt catch her name but she was in her 40s with long blonde hair. The only register that was open had a huge line of customers, I had maybe 4 items, no one was at the service dezk so I went there as I had in the past to be waited on. First of all, she was rude to a young coworker that was standing there then it continued. She told me to hold on a minute, she picked up the phone repeatedly and kept telling people they were needed up front while I was waiting at least a full 5 or more minutes . Then after she sent the boy that she had belittled in front of me to open a register she then looked at me & the people behind me and said we could go to a register that was now open and walked off! Goodbye Kmart! Very poor customer service!

I purchased two mountain bikes for myself and my son today with the assistance of David Norris, Assistant Manager. David was very helpful, polite, and patient. He was able to offer me a excellent deal on the bikes with the help of Jeff Bayes, Store Manager. They both worked with me to arrange delivery of the two bikes to my home. Mr Bayes personally delivered the bikes to my home after he finished his shift. I tried to tip him which he most graciously declined! A young man checked me out today that was the most amazing gentleman Ive ever met. He helped me figure out the right card to get my brother and then he was extremely pleasant the entire time. Ive been in here a few times before and he was always nicest guy there. I think his name was Jacob, he had dark brown hair and glasses. He deserves a raise and he should be there more I hardly ever see him

This Kmart is one of the best Kmarts in West Virginia. You can tell a great store when the employees treat the customers like guest and are willing to help you shop. In a hurry? You can get in and out of this store fast and easy because the clerks make sure they check you out immediately.

The facility is ok and they mostly employee high school students. The cash registers are outdated and the staff can be unfriendly at times. However, it is convient to the Scott Depot/Teays Valley area.

My experience at k mart is always great ,thanks to a great people like Sara and Dave Norris the assistant manager and Lisa and Mishell at front desk., and also cant forget the associates that help you .
