We went in on a Saturday to look at engagement rings. Our 12th anniversary as boyrfriend/girlfriend was coming up the following weekend. We spent at least an hour looking at the selection available and at settings that could be ordered. Kelly Bechdel is a wonderful person and great to deal with. She was so patient with me and I know I had to be getting annoying, but keep in mind I had waited 12 years for this ring so I wanted it to be perfect! Lord only knows when or if I will get the "next step" ring! I was looking for something in yellow gold with a marquise center stone. There was one I really liked, but it was in white gold. Kelly checked into a few things and said they could get it in yellow gold and have it there later that week. We returned on a Thursday evening (kept them there after hours) and again, Kelly was so patient and helpful. I happened to notice a ring in the case I didnt remember seeing that previous Saturday. I asked Kelly if I could see it. It just sparkled so beautifully! This ring was white gold and had round diamonds in a yellow goldprong setting. I continued to look through a few books, but kept going back to the complete opposite ring of what I was wanting. This ring was just so stunning! We joked about how long I have waited for a ring so I wanted to make sure I picked one that I loved. Kelly assured me she wouldnt let me leave with one I wasnt thrilled about. We flipped some more pages and I slipped the white gold, round diamond ring on my finger again. It has accent diamonds on the top and bottome of the band around the main setting--and they all sparkle so beautifully! Finally, I decided this was the ring for me. We both liked it and he like the price tag so it was a win-win. Kellys brother, Dave, had to size it for me. The very next day, I had the most beautiful ring on my finger! I cannot thank Kelly enough for her patience with me, her great service, her advice, everything! Kelly and Dave are truly the best!!! Very nice people and the only ones I would trust with such a huge commitment piece of jewelry.

My husband purchased a diamond ring from this store. It is amazing! I like to lift weights and my favorite color is pink. The staff were incredibly helpful and sold him a ring that featured pink sapphires and a shank that was flat on the bottom so it would not get damaged. My husband felt no pressure as the sales associate showed him rings that would suit me. When I come in to have my ring cleaned the staff know me by name and are very sweet when I have to bring my little boy in with me. Most other jewelry stores do not seem to like it when children are present, but the staff at Bechdel have coloring books and crayons and treat us like family. I will only purchase jewelry from Bechdels.

Today we went in to purchase a new necklace for my wife to replace one I bought her when our daughter was born. The woman who helped us gave 100%. She was friendly, and really made sure we knew our business was appreciated. I know in the jewlery business you need to be friendly, and these people have perfected friendly.

They need to work on customer service skills. A smile and friendliness to the customers would be a definite plus! They are quite pricey.
