Would give no stars if possible! This is 100% for the lady manager. I went in to have a nose pad replaced on a pair of older glasses that I had. When she returned from the back they werent multiple pieces and one lens was chipped. When I asked what happened she said "they just fell apart." She had no explanation other than "they just fell apart" She had no interest in taking responsibility or repairing them nor did she have any concern that I needed these glasses to drive home let alone see on a daily basis. She said I could order a new pair and they could have them in 2 weeks. Feeling very frustrated and a bit scammed because I walked in with a working pair of glasses for a very simple repair and somehow my glasses magically blew apart. Now I was being told I needed to order a new pair of glasses and wait two weeks. The two weeks wasnt the important part it was that this lady, a manager broke my glasses literally into multiple pieces and had no interest in an explanation or taking responsibility. I am an older lady with no family in town and therefore situations like this can be incredibly difficult. I explained to her that I needed to be able to leave her facility and drive home regardless and asked her if she had some super glue that I can repair my glasses with, She said no. I explained I needed to have them repaired she took masking tape and tape them back together. After persistently throwing a bit of a fit they said they could Rush order the glasses and so I picked out frames and order glasses. The rest of the staff was friendly and very kind. The person that gave the eye exam was also very courteous and pleasant. The manager on the other hand who is dealing with my situation made it very clear she could careless and was quite put out by having to work. He Apple Valley Eye Clinic should the incredibly embarrassed to have this person working there. I can only surmise that she is very low cost to maintain for the company and rolls over easily for a treat. If theres a hole in the company same as a road sometimes you just have to fill it with dirt.

I was told I would have to wait 4-6 weeks AT THE MOST to receive my prescription glasses. These glasses are supposed to help the pain and pressure in my eyes. 6 week mark hits, we call the office, "Because of the Holidays, were going on 8 weeks for making glasses, they are in process." The 8 week mark comes, "They are still in process, it could take up to 10 weeks". This is absolutely ridiculous, and we are already in process of filing a complaint with the medical board. There is absolutely NO reason it should take 10 weeks.

Doctors visit was overall good. Staff and Doctor were very friendly. EXCEPT my only complaint is the manager. I was sitting out in the lobby with my kids and I could hear her yelling “BULLCRAP” several times and saying very loudly that whoever she was on the phone with were “LIARS”. I think the lady has been working there for way too long and forgets there is a thing called an inside voice. She owns the practice but is VERY unprofessional!!

Professionalism is top priority plus congeniality to a customer. Waiting times are not usually lengthy and each staff met with offers basic information. I like the convenience of them faxing prescriptions and comparing efficacy of eye drops, etc. They are ready to serve and I have always received great treatment including calls to remind me of my appointments.

I have utilized Apple Valley Eye Center since moving to Selah over 20 years ago. I am always happy with Apple Valleys service and staff. I have absolutely no complaint. Those who greet me at the door from the Doctors and eye-wear consultants, I am always treated professionally and graciously. Not to mention the great product I wear on a daily basis.

I prefer a clinic that advocates for my eyes. I understand that I need custom contacts that take longer to make. I was told 6-8 weeks wait time; its been 10 weeks and they seem to care very little about following up with the supplier to get them. After my transaction is complete, I will find a different clinic in Yakima.
