As a customer purchasing medication at a pharmacy, I am expect to be treated in a friendly professional manner. The pharmacy is very important to our neighborhood. What I experienced today was discouraging. I am writing these lines in the hope of improving the customer service at this pharmacy to a level of calm, attentive professionalism. I stood at the counter and waited 7 minutes (I timed it) to have someone acknowledge my presence and even then I was greeted in a unfriendly manner. They could not find the information we needed, were repetitively unsuccessfull in determining what our insurance would allow. This was the second time we had such a negative experience at this pharmacy and we definitely wont be heading back.

I have had several interactions with the Tumwater Safeway Pharmacy and they are consistently disappointing. And its not just one annoyance, but many: long lines (it seems that they are often understaffed), mis-placed prescriptions, lost prescriptions, difficulty finding items, and one time they we low on an item and couldnt fill my prescription. I can forgive an error once in awhile, but I am frustrated with the consistent lack of professionalism. I also find that they hardly ever express regret or apologies when they mess up. Cmon guys! You can do better, right?

I have yet to encounter a worse pharmacy than the one at Safeway in Tumwater, WA. They are consistently rude and unreliable. More often than not it takes them 4 hours to fill a prescription that they said would take 45 min. I asked to have a receipt printed for an insurance reimbursement, and was treated awfully in response to my request. I have a hard time understanding why these people have been hired. DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTION HERE. Go to Walgreens on the Westside (cooper point), theyre not the best, but much, much more professional.

The people working at the pharmacy treat you like your very existence is a problem for them. Every question is met with rolled eyes and prescriptions are no where to be found. The experience of going into pick up medications feels like being called into the principles office. My experience of this place is that they both do not care at all about the experience of the people who come here and almost completely incompetent, treating sick people who need their help to an unpleasant and totally pointless experience. Do not go to this pharmacy

I cant believe the negative reviews here. I have used the Tumwater Safeway for 20 years and I am completely satisfied with their friendly, efficient, and professional service. I have complicated health issues that require the help of really good pharmacists and they have never let me down. They also handle medications for my dog and they are able to do so at a much lower cost than my vet or other pharmacies that I have checked. I give them 5 stars with no reservations.

I have had good experiences and bad experiences. There is one person there that is incredibly rude and incredibly mean but the others are awesome. I dont know her name she has long dark hair shes wonderful shes always friendly to me. The pharmacist have been amazing as well very knowledgeable and very helpful

Ive had problems in the past, but I just spoke with them and they were very helpful and friendly. As Ive learned today, difficulties occur that turn out to be no ones fault at all. It is always tempting to blame, flame, and shame, but best avoid the temptation lest one has all of the facts.
