TThis Walmart is located 1965 Union Ave Tacoma, WA and is located 1.7 miles from my home. Yet the Customer Service and Associate service is horrible. To include Managers Like Nathan and Roxsy. This store has not been open long yet I would rather travel 4.7 miles and take two buses than to the store located at 7001 Bridgeport Way in Lakewood, WA than deal with this Walmart. In fact Manager Nathan was very smug in his attitude and specifically told me that another manager was let go. Is that proper behavior? Is that not against hiring protocol. This Walmart has people working there that do not care, shelves are never fully stock and Associates blame vendors for that. WOW. I was treated very rudely when I questioned why shelves were not stocked. I have visited at VARIOUS time & Service stinks all the way around. Furthermore, unless you point out the number of people in line, no extra cash out lane is opened. If you need to buy spirits, forget about that, since the vendors control what is stocked since area is rented to them. Asking for help is next to impossible since there is no one around. Once you find them, they are CLUELESS and move with no URGENCY. If you go there expected to be treated like A Dumb P-O-S.

Worst Walmart experience ever. I just wanted infornmation on the straight sim card they carried (price & to know if it was in stock. The lady transfered me to electronics...nobody picked up. Then the lady picked up again and said shed do an overhead page. 6min later i was still on hold. Hung up. Called back. New lady picked up & did the same thing but was more rude. When i told her what information i need she huffed as though i was making her run an obstacle course. I was told in a sassy ton "hold please" then was put on hold for 10min. Hung up again. Called back..AGAIN. I asked the lady i had just got off the phone with for her name, she woouldnt give it too me. SHe just asked "how may i direct your call" instead-probably because she knew why i wanted it. I asked for her manager and was put on hold. Hung up & called back. I asked 3 times for her name and she replied "why do you want my name?" in a sassy tone. She told me her name was SULLIE. I asked for her manager. Was put on hold 12 min. Finally i got the manager on the phone & his name was JAKE. HE was a really nice guy, he apolagized and made me feel better, which is why i gave a 2 star instead of 1.

Negative 10 Starrs of I could went in there last light to grab some Pokémon cards for my stepson tried to get a manager so I asked the associate to come over cause all the 11$ Pokémon cards were surprisingly in a 4 dollar rack so I wanted them to price match it since there was more than 10 of these in that spot. When went to the acosiate he first accused me of moving them there myself like wtf really anyhow it gets worse. So finally after standing there 36 minuets for a manager I walk up to customer service thinking cool Ill get some help now. No absolutely not I got looked up and down by this lady and then she said no I will not price match it for you. I said okay as I was walking away this manager wispers to the cashier at customer service that thats the way those rich white assholes need to be treated like seriously wtf Im completely pissed off like really so because Im white I dont get a price match? This lady needs to be fired and I will not shop here no more until they get rid of this racist manager screw this Walmart I will shop at target or winco where I dont get treated like crap over a simple price match and my skin color

Its your typical walmart, I had purchased a large fireplace media console. And for the life of me I couldnt find one person to help me load it on to my cart, which was not the correct way to get it from the back of the store to the check out, but what am I to do? Once I got it on the cart and headed to pay for it, we went by 10 or 12 employees standing out in another isle. Not one of them asked if I needed assistance. Now at check out, the cashier asked if I would like help out, we said yes. She asked us to wait off to the side while someone comes to help. 20 minutes went by, I had asked her 2 more times if someone is coming, she said yes. So I said fudge it, we started heading out. Passing 1 employee, I said can you help me load this he said sure, and said he would meet me at the door. So now at the door we waited 10 minutes, and nothing. So we take it to the car ourselves. Now at the car, I see a guy getting carts, so I yell excuse me, very loud and to be honest Im not sure he heard me, but another guy (customer) getting in his car to leave ran over and gave us a hand. Which only took 1 minute to do. Very disappointed.

Ive never seen a store so understaffed! Lines are long as hell and go into the clothes, preventing shoppers from walking through front of store. Have you ever seen a store with no lighters up front. Go to walmart tacoma and you wont see a single lighter! They constantly run out of things and never restock them. Cashiers are very unhappy with their jobs, i cant think of another reason why they are so rude. Prices are always wrong on items, you wont know the actual cost until you see it on the receipt! Shame on the manager for letting this go on! To bad i had to give them one star. I think you should have a spot for negative stars. All the handicapped parking is taken up by people who are not handicapped! Get someone out there to check for the I.D. card you are supposed to have along with the placard! One sorry manager there at wamart tacoma! Its impossible to put everything on here that is wrong with that walmart!

My daughter bought a two tier cake from the bakery for my granddaughters fifth bday. The first cake they made, they told her it didnt have to go in the fridge, an hour before we left to setup the party the cake had melted and sunken in to the bottom layer. Wal mart made a second cake in an hour for giving my daughter wrong directions. The second cake wasnt servable to the guests at all. It was falling apart by the time we got to the car and the "slices" we managed to get from the cake was just bunch of crumbs from the cake falling apart. It was supposed to serve 64 and it didnt come close go serving our 50 guests. They wont refund her because the second cake was "free". In what world was that cake free if my daughter spent 60 bucks on a cake that we were never able to serve to our guests? They need to learn how to take the blame for their mistakes.
