I only go here b/c theres NO other fabric store in town. Fabric selection only OK at best - somewhat expensive. Theyve sales, but in yrs shopping there it was never on stuff I needed. Ive signed up repeatedly to receive their special (email or mail only) offers - I have NEVER received any of them - so of course I dont get the good deals (I still live in same place). Serious problems w/ their fabric cutting station. Expect to wait for 30+ mins before getting service (u must get a #ticket upon entering store or wait longer) - theyll cut dozens of fabrics for single person while making dozens of ppl whove 1-2 items wait (cut a few, then ask the big order to wait while 1 person w/ small item gets help). At fabric cutting station Ive had nasty remarks & been ignored when simply trying to ask a Q about where an item might be (u have to ask here since its impossible to find any1 else in the store), fabric cutters generally ignore u & Ive had them turn away, ignore my older child w/ our ticket or help some1 else b/c I was taking care of my toddler who ran down another aisle or had my back turned getting fabric out of my cart!!! They will cut & charge u for a fabric, neglecting to mention theres a sale starting the next day or 2 (Ive had this happen 2-3x). Theyll also cut low-quality fabric when you tell them what its for - neglecting to mention how it will completely fall apart. (I was so angry last time I told them that if it hadnt been for a childs bday gift the next day I would have returned the product for my $ back - even after I GENTLY cut & hand-sewed this fabric - manager admitted they KNOW this fabric is a prob!!!) Every time therere generally others discussing these problems while waiting too - Ive even encountered other ppl in other stores who said they dislike & avoid this Jo-Annes due to the SAME problems.

I bake and sell cakes, scrapbook and have needed fabric on occasion. I normally shop the other well known craft store, but their service and product availability has gone down hill over the past couple years. I stopped in here to find a cake pan, I couldnt find elsewhere and ah-ha I did! Jo-Anns has had 95% excellent customer service the times I have been and their selection has increased. Thanks to the mobile app, this will be my #1 stop from now on. Thanks for saving me time, money and being kind and helpful!

A variety of products, with varying quality and price. Good source for fabrics and sewing supplies. Its unfortunate that the lines are so long and slow, especially at the fabric cutting table. When Im able, I go during the dinner hour, when there tends to be less of a wait.

I like standing in line twice... Once to get measured, and once to pay... Makes great sense. /S I also wish they had better signs, takes me forever to find whatever Im looking for.
