I was seriously disappointed by Play It Again Sports. I went there looking for ski boots, and although Play It Again Sports used ski boot prices were higher than those at REI, REI hadnt had anything in my size. So, I bought the boots and left the boots and skis at the store to have the bindings adjusted. I came back a day after they were supposed to be ready, picked up my stuff and headed home only to find that the adjustment hadnt been done. I carried everything back, and was told apologetically that they could have it ready in half hour. I came back a half hour later to find my stuff had moved about 4 feet and hadnt been worked on. They told me that I could leave it and they would work on it later. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my stuff in the store (and, really, what would the point have been? I just would have come back to find that it hadnt been done.... again), so got my money back, and left with my stuff, bindings still not adjusted. Seriously, the customer service was awful. Im not sure what the thought process is.... If a store cant provide a basic level of service, customers wont come back. Also, Im pretty sure the other two reviews on Google are fakes because prices at Play It Again Sports are pretty high compared to the competition.

I went here to procure a bicycle helmet while in the city on vacation, I had neglected to bring one along as I dont wear one here in Portland. The store was very out of the way for someone walking because they couldnt ride their bicycle without fear of a citation. Thats one star out of five they dont get. When I entered, the staff seemed either indifferent to or oblivious of my presence. The only person who seemed ready to be helpful, was on the phone for an inordinate amount of time, AND was the only person apparently running the register. Two more stars knocked away. While I was searching for the helmet I could have used some advice on sizing, but the girl I asked about the helmets of the type I was carrying the display model for just pointed. I was in no mood at this point to go looking through the disorganized stack & trying on twelve different helmets when I was meeting with this level of hostility. Not to mention the price for the helmet was not readily labeled. So thats four stars taken away.

I have been super impressed with the selections and deals on Alpine boots here, as well as the knowledge of one of the floor people. Beginning of last season a pair of blue Lange WCs were causing my feet to go into pulmonary arrest! I needed a pair decent-fitting high-end boots fast, and have a serious aversion to paying Xhundred $ for these things. The sales rep knew all the flex and boot dimensions well. I had a couple of very good options, and ended up getting lucky and finding a pair of Atomic Hawx, 120 flex...just what I wanted. Since then, in the fall while I was back relieving my basement of a pile of used gear, I saw two other great pairs of boots that would have worked equally well.

Totally low balled me and offer $10 for my almost new burton moto boots. I make that sitting in the jon at work.. The one out of the four outter lace system didnt but all the other laces do and its fully functional boarding. This shiz retails for $150.. These jerks hella tried to scam me and made me feel totally degraded, insulted, and embarrased. Caution they will make u feel the same way. Their stuff is hella sub par and grimey so i wasnt lookin for a trade in and high priced.. Good luck with ur shiesty business model, go here to get insulted again ..... sports.

Rented ski boots that were seriously worn beyond usability. I neglected to check them myself until I popped out of the bindings repeatedly on the mountain. Ended up renting boots from the resort instead, and contributed to the decision not to ski a second day. To their credit though, the skis were fantastic, and they did give me a $20 refund on the boots, which is why they get two stars instead of one from me. Still, Id rather have the time wasted not on the mountain and the hassle back than the $20.

Found a pair of "New, unused" ski boots here through ebay. Of course were the only ones my daughter really loved and this was the only place I could find her size at as they were last years model. Again, listed brand new but upon receipt had damage to them, box had zero packaging in it for shipping and box had to holes in it. Spoke to store manager, didnt care to fix them, reimburse any of the cost or pursue UPS for damages. Basically, if you plan to have them ship you anything, good luck.

Fantastic, super knowledgeable staff available for ski and snowboard boot fitting. Very patient and forgiving. It isnt about style, colour, and price as much as the perfect fit with zero-pain that suits your skill level and snowsport lifestyle. These guys ROCK and Id recommend them and return again and again. Thanks for helping me make a very tough decision (it was harder than choosing a new car!). :)

Play It Again Sports in Seattle is a great store. They have a good selection of new and used equipment for all types of sports. I did a lot of shopping around for my workout gear and play it again had the best prices by far. Not to mention I bought some of the equipment used, which helped out my wallet even more. I would really recommend checking this store out. Thanks Guys

What a great idea. Other than a lucky stop at a garage sale, you cant find a better deal on gently used golf equiptment. Several friends a collegues wanted to try golf but it was too expensive. I sent them to do just what I did, buy the golf equiptment here. They have a great selection, and even better prices. Keep up the great work!

Pretty good selection of gear and equipment. You can definitely find some fantastic bargains if you are knowledgable about what you are looking for. Beware selling them gear though - you wont get much in the way of cash.
