After so many negative experiences at other bridal salons, I was so impressed by this store! The inside is beautiful, just the surrounding you want to be in when you try on beautiful dresses. The owner and her associates are the most genuine, honest, and friendly women I have ever met in a retail store. I ordered a Maggie Sottero dress from them and they were able to get it in a week. When I tried it on we all knew that it didnt fit correctly and they didnt try to sugar coat it or encourage me to try alterations that may not work (they dont alter there so worrying that they will order the wrong size to get extra money is not an issue with them). We spent a good hour looking at the different options and they encouraged me to take it home and think about it, which I did and decided that it is just not the dress for me. So I brought it back to the shop and they actually returned it for me! That is unheard of in the business. We ended up looking around the store and found a discontinued dress on clearance and purchased it on the spot! They really saved me alot of money and were so nice about it. During subsequent visits I have felt just as special...when trying on veils the owner gave me an updo and tried them all on me. Also, I looked up both dresses online and they were cheaper than the online stores. I would definitely refer anyone to this store for excellent service and a memorable experience.

I felt a deep sense of trust when I left Pearls and Lace. Their selection is great. The atmosphere is calming...definitely what youd want. The sales ladies are very helpful and present whenever you need help, but never pushy. They have strong seamstress knowledge to guide you in deciding if a dress will really look how you want it to look. The prices are modest. I found a simple, basic dress there I liked for only $196. I found another more elegant dress I really liked for $850. The selection for bridesmaid dresses is fabulous! There are many fitting rooms. Although the store is large, it is set up like a beautiful boutique with nooks and crannies everywhere. Dresses are grouped according to styles and prices. They have a rack of dresses on sale that are phenominal. I found a couple of wonderful contender dresses, but couldnt seem to find "the dress" there. I am rather disappointed about it, because these ladies were so very friendly and helpful. I felt like one lady who helped me was a long time family friend, although I had just met her...thats how helpful she was! Im writing this review to pay them back for their wonderful hospitality and service.

Pearls and Lace is a nice bridal shop in Burien. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a great selection with good prices. There is no time limit to try on dresses or appointments needed. You can take pictures of the dresses. This would be nothing but a rave review, had they not failed to complete the only thing truly critical in this transaction. They did not order my dress. That is correct. The dress paperwork was filled out - the dress was paid for. But when I called eagerly three and a half months later to see if it had arrived - I find out that they lost my paperwork. They never called the designer to order the dress. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The dress has now been "rush" ordered - it will arrive shortly before the wedding. I can only hope there is enough time for alterations. This is a stressful situation that should have never happened in the first place. Their response has been apologetic, but I feel as if they dont think it is a big deal. So one star. For not only letting a customer down in the worst way, but also to not fix the situation in a way that shows you care.

Ill start by saying that this store has lots of beautiful dresses and definitely has lots of great options. The problem definitely wasnt wirh their selection. But we had terrible service. First off they dont make appointments, which was a little concerning but I was ensured my sister (the bride) would have all her needs met with help getting dressed and help searching for the perfect dress. Unfortunately that was not the case. We were the only ones Im the store and they pretty much just told us to look around and grab whatever and put it in our dressing room. But not shortly after we got there another bride came in and I was taken aback because they were MUCH more helpful with her. They didnt help us shop at all, the consultant was just there to zip and unzip and clip the dress then she would leave us for the other bride. This bride came in looking like she had money to blow and it was clear where there priorities were. If your looking for a wonderful experience I would recommend blue sky bridal in Seattle, we had a much better experience there.

I love this place! They had quite a large selection of gowns with resonable prices to match! I found a very unique dress that is different from any onther wedding gown I have ever seen, and believe me I watch all the wedding shows! The people there are really nice and kind of let you do your own thing, unless you need help, wich I really apreciated! I also had the option of changing the back of my dress from a zipper to a corset! I bought my wedding gown here during spring break and actually received it a month earlier then predicted! They asked me to send them a picture of me in my gown for their store! I think its cool that they care that much about their customers! Thank you soooo much Pearls and Lace! I definately had a memorable experience! I cant wait for my wedding day!

I went here first to try on dresses due to a recommendation from a friend. I loved it here! Very nice inside, great selection, way better experience then say, DB! I felt really comfortable with the staff and the alterations situation. But of course I found a sale at another store and purchased there. I had a horrible experience and will NOT go back to do my fitting and alterations. I called back Pearls and Lace and asked if I can use their seamstress (they refer out) and she graciously gave me the name and number of a girl here in town. I wish I would have stuck with my gut! (I did get my dress in only 6 weeks ordering else where though, whatever thats worth) As long as you order on time, I would 100% recommend Pearls and Lace!

If I were to marry 10 times - I would always return to Pearls and Lace. I would recommend it to anyone that is getting married! The service was outstanding. I went in by myself, (Before dragging and entorage in), well, I found my dress. It was the best feeling being able to touch and feel all the dresses hanging up-- none of the bags to go through. I bought my dress from their sale room and they cleaned it and had it ready for me the next day. I love Julie- she was so helpful! I absolutly loved her way of welcoming me and saying "Here is your room- pick anything that you would like to try on and when you are ready- we will help you into them." THANK YOU LADIES!!!! AWESOME SHOP!!!
