I couldn not be happier with not only the couch, but the entire process. I knew exactly what I wanted and Anthony helped me take it to the next level to ensure the couch fit the room perfectly. Not only do I have a one of a kind sofa, but i got exactly what I wanted w/o any hassles and nothing but PERFECT customer service. I shopped around town and even on Western and nobody came this close for such a great price. The quality and craftmanship is just beautiful. Thanks again and I hope this review helps others decide to visit cuz reviews is what got me in the door. Update - Started w/ a 5 star rating, but dropped to a 3 due to how follow-up issue was resolved. Great product, love the couch, but customer service needs improvemen. Update - It took 60 days to resolve the issue, but not by the owner of the store. I had to get involved w/ the builder to find out there was no priority for the order not getting filled correctly for either the owner or the builder. Dropped rating to a 2

My husband and I recently moved to Seattle without much furniture. Our first stop for furniture was Modern Design Sofas. We fell in love with the Vivian sofa but wanted to look around more. We came back a few days later to place our order. We customized the size, sofa inserts, and fabric. On January 4th we placed our order, with an expectancy of a 6-8 week arrival. Less than three weeks later, the sofa arrived to Seattle and the delivery company was able to drop it by within an a day. Everyone was so sweet at Modern Design Sofas, as well as the delivery company. We are in absolute love with our new sofa!! I would absolutely suggest going here for high-quality, customizable furnishings.

Great product at a great price. Customer service can only be characterized as OVER PROMISE, UNDER DELIVER. The holidays resulted in delivery delays. Every call was answered with we are sorry, we will take care of it. Last call resulted in e-mail saying I would be called when the sofa arrived and placed at the top of the delivery list. We will try to get you your sofa in a couple of days. Next day I get a call from the delivery company, not MDS and they say we can deliver in three or four days or next week. I picked up the sofa myself and will never do business with MDS again. Beware paying 100% up front as they require. Once they have your money, you have no leverage.

Id have to say after browsing tens of furniture stores and finally deciding to go with Modern Design Sofas, we couldnt be happier. We loved that we could build our couch from the ground up in terms of fabric and color choices. When they were out of stock of one of the fabrics they found a way around it and actually gave us an extra set of pillows with a fabric nearly identical to the one we originally chose. The wait time was about 16 weeks, (which we were more than forewarned about by the staff) and all i can say is good things come to those who wait. Perfect couch. Perfect fabric. Perfect colors. Would strongly recommend and will be back.

By far, the best furniture store on Western. The cool logo in the window brought me in, but once i was inside, I was amazed and the quality and custom options that I can actually afford. Blows BoConcepts out of the water.

Great deals on quality furniture. Good selection and easy location in Downtown Seattle. I shopped around for a month trying to find the best deal on a sofa and thought this place was the best.

I bought a sectional in a soft microfiber fabric. It has removable, washable covers which is great for my two dogs. Stains just clean right up!!
